As we’ve already come to know very well, it’s not the individuals on the sex offender registry who present the greatest risk of sexual abuse to children at their schools, but it’s their teachers. Here’s yet another out of Marion County.

Today, the US Department of Justice issued a press release stating an NYPD officer was sentenced for sex trafficking. Among the other statements in the release, it stated, ““The subject in this case used information he knew from being a sworn member of law enforcement to elude officers who would know he was doing something illegal,” stated Assistant Director-in-Charge Sweeney.
