    You are so awesome! I don’t believe I have read something like that before. So good to find another person with some genuine thoughts on this topic. Really.. thank you for starting this up. This site is something that’s needed on the web, someone with some originality!

    A fine example of the revolving door of government officials turned crony capitalists and using their former relationships to benefit their new positions. This should never be allowed to happen and no one should be allowed to profit from human suffering.
    GEO (and CCA) is well known for lobbying for harsher sentences in order to fill their prisons. Of course they claim it’s for public safety, but they don’t make money on empty beds.

    GEO operates the Florida, Civil Commitment Center and I can assure you that no good can come from this.They have proven over the years that profit is all that matters.

    Has this country now gotten to the point that we are paying fiscal predators to cage American citizens?

    @John. S

    What FAC is posting is SUPER Bad. They are advising the S.O. Community of a broader picture of Corruption so it can be clear-cut when making Arguments oral or otherwise.

    Sometimes we (those in peril) are so blinded to our current circumstance that we fail to notice the broader picture of the system that is supposed to be merited on “Checks and Balances”.

      The more people in prison, the more money the legislators make.
      By hiring former ICE officials, these for profit prison companies get an inside track to government contracts.

        ” The more people in prison, the more money the legislators make ”

        and eventually pass more laws that easily exploit human behavior making it even easier for people(the product) to get arrested( the profit ).
