Even though those people were actually trying to meet up with someone they thought was underage (Shame on them as since the registry came out what are you thinking) they did not actually meet a REAL underaged person, but may get a long sentence and on registry for life, just like some of us who had a real physical victim.

So, someone who stole a candy bar and someone who murdered someone is a vast distance in sentencing but like I said above, a sting and a real meet up seems to possibly end up being a lifetime of registrations and even prison time.

And depending on what judge we get, I have seen someone with charges worse than mine get probation and I got 22 years. Judges and guidelines decide your punishment, as well as witness testimonies from friends, families, prosecutors and the victims themselves.

Not too mention, judd is already out in front of it the PR by making this sting focused on a “Santa Claus” that was arrested in the sting

The person was probably like a son to him and just cannot see him be embarrassed any further by this mess of being emotionally entangled with the lass.

This ranks up there with educators in FLA who STILL violate their ethics code with their students even after the example set by others before them.

Probably has skeletons like J. Edgar from back in the day…or one can hope.

Not going to say what county I live in, but I moved from a county (After my probation ended) that registration was a nightmare and you prayed you got home safe after registering.

The county I moved to, you go register, and they are very nice and just remind you to keep up with registration requirements and stay out of trouble. Difference between night and day. Still sucks having to register, but when I do, I know at the county I now live treats you with respect. That is unless you act like a jerk to them, which I see at least one person each time give the registration officers grief even cussing them out.

And so far, the deputies who come to my house twice a year are always nice and professional. One guy always asks if I am ok, has anyone bothered me, then just reminds me to make sure to stay up on registration requirements. He even once felt sorry for those of us who have complied so many years and are still having to do this registration for life.

Thankfully, God is nothing like Grady Judd.
