Polk County: Let’s See What Happens When It’s One of Their Own
Sheriff Grady Judd is once again in the headlines promoting a large undercover operation branded “Polk Around and Find Out” (he comes up with the best names, doesn’t he)? This operation led to over 260 arrests across Central Florida. But at the same time, a very different case was unfolding in his own jurisdiction. A Polk County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested after being accused of an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old cadet under his supervision, including allegations of grooming behavior and efforts to conceal communications.
So on one hand, we have a highly publicized operation showcasing mass arrests and zero tolerance messaging. On the other hand, we now get to see what happens when the allegations involve someone wearing the badge inside Sheriff Judd’s own department. Let’s find out if accountability applies equally when it’s not part of a press conference.

we can make an educated guess.. Have any of those Epstein island individuals been exposed to public humiliation and Justice yet?.. How about those tax payer funded Congress members?. exactly.. how dare you even ask for them to be accountable.
Funny how Judd loves to say how much of a devoted Christian he is and then gets on TV and slanders people.
Thankfully, God is nothing like Grady Judd.
Not going to say what county I live in, but I moved from a county (After my probation ended) that registration was a nightmare and you prayed you got home safe after registering.
The county I moved to, you go register, and they are very nice and just remind you to keep up with registration requirements and stay out of trouble. Difference between night and day. Still sucks having to register, but when I do, I know at the county I now live treats you with respect. That is unless you act like a jerk to them, which I see at least one person each time give the registration officers grief even cussing them out.
And so far, the deputies who come to my house twice a year are always nice and professional. One guy always asks if I am ok, has anyone bothered me, then just reminds me to make sure to stay up on registration requirements. He even once felt sorry for those of us who have complied so many years and are still having to do this registration for life.
I don’t understand how this is a win or victory for them, much less justice? Arresting people for a bait and switch hookup seems like a very hollow achievement at best. Then turn around a make a coroplast with the arrestees on it for the televised podium spech. This Sheriff is a textbook attention media whore.
I have a discriptor for this guy’s purpose and mission: “Operation enduring stupidity.”
I’m not holding my breath lol
His so called “detectives” are in need of proper training with regard to completing reports that include all aspects of their investigations….including anything that may be considered exculpatory info & evidence. His archaic sting ops are unethical at best and ruin the lives of individuals who were targeted while on adult dating/social sites.
