Broward Event: Coming Together to Better Support Families of Registrants

We recognize the stigma and collateral consequences of the registry and know that families can often feel isolated and helpless. We are planning to hold a family support session in central Broward on Saturday, 7/20/19, 11 am – 1 pm. Attendees can look forward to an open and safe place in which they can share their experiences and challenges as family members of registrants. This meeting is for family members only (no registrants), to allow family members to address their own unique issues and feelings.

The greatest support you can give parents and families of registrants, among other supporters, is to create ways to fight back against the genocide that the registry is meant to disguise.

Scapegoating is genocide. Genocide is murder. Not fight back is to let it rage.

The only way to fight it is in the same coin.
