Arizona operators of sex offender websites arrested on fraud, harassment charges

[FAC Note: this guy is no stranger to us. He’s finally getting what he deserves, hopefully]

Sex offenders were Charles Rodrick’s business. For years, the Arizona website owner targeted people who had been arrested for sex crimes and demanded payments for removal of online profiles.

When they complained or resisted, Rodrick responded with promises of greater exposure and humiliation, according to computer, court and other records.

His online intimidation campaign expanded after 2011 to include perceived critics: a judge, multiple lawyers, his ex-wife, a defense contractor and an Arizona Republic reporter.

On Tuesday, federal and state authorities arrested Rodrick at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport after he stepped off a flight from Central America.

I would expect justice here but its crazy redneck gun crazy Maricopa County! All he needs is a heavy defense of “I was serving as as Public Servant to keep America safe” bullshit and he will probably get off.

In 2009 I challenged Florida’s public record Sunshine Law and added Google to my complaint. The FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement called, directed me to shut up or else! I gave in.

Constant harassment and today fake websites, phishing and those Warrant phone calls are all part of getting rid of the registrant politically.

If justice was done the government would be sentenced as accomplices. The government not only provides the tools, often retroactively, but also makes it very lucrative and encouraging by doing simar schemes themselves to profit off those they targeted.

I wonder what the recidivism rate for these crooks are. They must be exceedingly high. Especially since he’s been able to get away with it for 10 years.
