After unanimous support, Lauren Book mysteriously pulls her own bill.

Lauren Book pulled one of her own bills at the last minute (no, it is not the horrible SB1226), an action that mystified other legislators and victims who were pushing for it’s passage.

The bill would have allowed survivors to sue businesses that willingly and knowingly turn a blind eye to trafficking. For that illicit industry, that mostly meant motels and hotels, where the trafficking often happens.

She claimed she pulled the bill because she didn’t want to waste the Senate Committee’s time on it, because the House was not going to pass the companion bill. In actuality, the committee had plenty of time left during their meeting and members of the House insisted it was going to pass.

Could it be that her dad, Ron Book, represents Property Casualty Insurer’s Association of America that writes 35% of the commercial property and liability market???? HMMMM… how would Ron Book’s clients feel if Lauren Book would have pushed through a bill that could have imposed liability on them, where she had the power to kill it at the last minute?

i’m starting to think that it may of been possible that while ron the crook book was traveling while his daughter was being molested that he himself may have been traveling over sea’s molesting thus his current actions may be done to remove that possible spotlight from him. everyone one knows how it goes about the ones with the most to hide.

Whatever the reason this shows exactly the type of person Lauren Book is.

The article title should have been “Senator Lauren Book a self proclaimed victim advocate, uses vitcims to push her agenda and then abandons them without reason”

Could this have been her attempt in getting her bill seen on the floor because just like most sex offender bills, they empirically fail, while being pushed by raw emotion and the only bills the senator seems to write. That companion bill was the dessert…. the one part that would get legislators to get on board because they /and the public believe there is correlation… a commonality between a sex trafficker and sex offender.
Don’t try to understand ‘why’ sex trafficking has gotten so out of control…. but surmise to ‘who’ might be behind it…. After reading the below you can conclude for yourself who would be able to afford such and expensive endeavor. If you haven’t figured it out then see the very bottom for the answer.

1 Globally, the average cost of a slave is $90.
2 Trafficking primarily involves exploitation which comes in many forms, including: forcing victims into prostitution, subjecting victims to slavery or involuntary servitude and compelling victims to commit sex acts for the purpose of creating pornography.
3 According to some estimates, approximately 80% of trafficking involves sexual exploitation, and 19% involves labor exploitation.
4 There are approximately 20 to 30 million slaves in the world today.
5 According to the U.S. State Department, 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year, of which 80% are female and half are children. (https://www.dosomething.org/us/facts/11-facts-about-human-trafficking)

Just like the FAC’s webmaster suggested…. certain rich/elites back this.
