Be sure to check your sex doll’s ID – Florida Legislature passes new law
The Florida Legislature has passed a bill to ban childlike sex dolls, sending it to Gov. Ron DeSantis to be signed into law.
Sen. Lauren Book, D-Plantation, sponsored SB 160, which would make it a first-degree misdemeanor to own, show, lend, sell or advertise child sex dolls. If someone possesses one without the intent to do the above, it would be a second-degree misdemeanor. And if someone does it more than once, it would become a third-degree felony.

Didn’t know this was an epidemic in Miami lol. I would google more on the story but last thing I need is that being in my history or shopping pop ups lol. I take her word for it.
I build model airplanes…that have model machine guns. What’s next? Will I have to register my models or at least the model machine guns. Is that considered an ex-felon in possession of a fire arm? Our legislators…or at least some of them are in serious need of mental health counselling. Even if I wanted a ‘sex doll’, I wouldn’t know where to buy one…nor do I care to know. Of all the problems this nation and Florida face, surely they can come up with something better than this to waste tax payer money and their time…drug dealing, car jacking, armed robbery, and other ‘minor’ infractions?
I had never even heard of such a thing until this bill. Lauren Book has given a massive amount of free advertising to an industry 99.99% of the population has never even heard of. Way to go, Lauren!
This law will likely have the effect of increasing the sale of the prohibited items, since now many more people who up to now had never even heard of them know that they exist.
And therein is the whole idea. Make something most people never heard of illegal. The demand for the contraband increases. Now they have a reason to arrest more people. Remember how this scheme works, every time someone is arrested, someone else makes money. These laws are enacted with the plan to get richer in mind.
I remember years ago that a man was arrested for concerting one of those 3 foot tall Barbies into a sex doll and was arrested on obscenity for having a “childlike” sex doll.
So, one has to ask what one considers “childlike”? Barbie turns 60 this year. Even the 3 foot tall Barbie is the same style as a regular size Barbie, meaning she has the curves and structure of any other Barbie, that of a grown woman.
Would height alone determine what is “childlike”? Some folks just like midgets or perhaps anime characters. What if the person wanted a small one just because of space constraints, or the man is old and frail and could not maneuver a 6 foot tall doll? Anime characters might have childlike faces despite being old. Etna from the Disgaea video game series would be a prime example of this, she is only 4 and a half feet tall, looks like a young teen, but is a 1400-year-old demon.
I don’t see this as passing constitutional muster. There isn’t much precedent but a man from KY was declared not guilty of having one of these dolls because no child was involved.
If it were left up to Lauren Book you would be prosecuted and convicted on what you think alone you never have act on it just think it
This is the dumbest thing ever.
