I became a 290 on 1986 and haven’t been able to get of the Registry. Is there any hope for me to get of the Registry.
Videos are a great start. I wish everyone knew not all registrants are guilty. Some have to take a plea deal or face years in jail waiting for a jury trial.
I am glad that there are individuals out there who are fighting for our rights! It is not helping anyone by having the registration, if it was, they would have registration for Drunk Drivers, Burglars, Car Jackers, Armed Robbers, and Home Invasions, as it is known that these individuals do very little time if any and are released right back into the community without any notifications. As Ben stated above, Sex Offenders are the second lowest recidivism rate, just after Murderers, who are very rarely released. Huge Thank You to Janice Bellucci for all her hard work.
Well said ! where is the murder offender list????? If it worked they would have one.
Lists hurt everyone.Let people change.
Using the Term Sex Offender is INcorrect as it is being used in the active tense of the English Language…the Term is Citizens forced to Register; You are forced Register or they throw you in Jail; then Prison
The oatmeal and peanut butter got boring….
True, I agree with you on the use. I will have to start using it differently now. Thank you CJB
It’s a good start. Most people think the registry exists to keep them safe because sex offenders can’t be “cured”. If they are truly sick, why are they treated like criminals? More education about the rate of recidivism, sex offenses being the second lowest rate of ALL CRIMES, needs to be disseminated. New laws don’t prevent crimes, they elect bureaucrats.
All three videos are excellent! They should be viewed by every member of the public, including elected officials.
Thanks Janice, please be sure to like, share and subscribe. The more interest, the more YouTube/Google Algorithms will show it.
Making a monster law is big bucks for politicians but that hoax is a crime itself.
These videos are excellent. Thank you for producing them so people will know the truth. Registries do great harm to the families of those listed and do little, if anything, for protection. Resources currently spent on registries could be far more effectively used for education and prevention.
