FAC Needs YOU!

The Florida Action Committee is working hard on behalf of registrants, their family and the general public to (a) educate the public on the facts surrounding sexual victimization and correct long-standing myths, (b) legislate for for laws based on empirically proven studies and not knee jerk reactions that cost tax payers and don’t work, and (c) litigate to protect the constitutional rights of registered citizens and their families.

To accomplish this we produce and distribute educational materials, keep on top of the latest research and put the word out. We also travel to meet with legislators and testify before congress to lobby for better laws. Finally, when all else fails we push for legal challenges.

FAC is a non-profit organization. We are completely reliant on the generous support of donors and the time put in by our volunteers. We need both to keep doing what we do and to effectuate positive change.

If you have benefited from our resources, referrals, support services, advocacy services or are just reading this message for the first time; please help. FAC needs YOU!

You can help by volunteering for one of our committees. Just contact [email protected] and let us know you are out there. Even one or two hours a week helps greatly.

You can also help by donating to FAC. Simply click the donate button on our homepage. Every dollar goes a long way. To give you an example; we are sending brochures to every County SPOT unit and to many treatment providers in our state in order to boost awareness and increase membership. Printing and postage costs roughly $3.50.  Sponsoring just a few mailings will get the word out to hundreds of registrants.

Thank you sincerely for supporting FAC!
