FDLE Launches Mobile App
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement just launched a mobile app (http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/MA/Mobile-Devices.aspx)
The App, which has versions for Android and iOS, incorporates the sex offender registry. Several other apps feature sex offender searches and maps, so this is nothing new or novel.
most likely this app was created by the same so-called company that sells these RSO data base’s to fdle, etc… as an add on item

I agree with you, Nicholas. FDLE is trolling us! I wouldn’t be surprised if…….oops, I better not say that here, might give the bookends some more nefarious ideas.
Speaking of which, is it any wonder they are opposing Amendment 12?
Cops are not to be in the business of operating websites or apps. This is supposed to be left to the county, state or federal IT departments.
FDLE now has a convenient tool to track GPS/Geocoords from towers, IP addresses of device (both IPv4 and IPv6), Device make, model, potentially website history, DNS servers used and a definitely phone number associated with the device, including potentially IMEI number of the hardware itself.
They can now cross reference phone numbers against those using the app to know which phones to track.
Don’t install this app and if you do, uninstall it now and do a factory reset on your device.
