Never had Facebook or any other and don’t need it. You want to reach me ? Call me or text me if I so happen to give you my number.

I don’t need a company keeping tabs on what everybody in the world is doing to collect our data and make a profit from it and to God only knows who. The thought of that alone is horrifying.

    Ah, Instagram

A place that influences Narcissism, Internet trolls and cyber bullying. Everybody is tough with their abusive commenting opinions behind a digital profile and screen.

Facebook owned Instagram has a lot of bigger problems than putting restrictions on non existent security and safety issues. They can start with the problems caused by their own actions.

    @FAC

Segregation is illegal. How is this any different? Has there been or is there a challenge currently either in the works or in development to go after this on the same basis?

How exactly is this legally any different that a Business is allowed to discriminate against a type of individual any different than doing the same for Sexual Orientation, or Skin color?????

Because sexual orientation and race are considered protected classes. Sex offenders are not.

Shouldn’t all Citizens be a protected Class? Is there not an argument in perhaps changing the outdated verbage to our advantage?

True this is an unpopular topic but so too was Rape, abuse, etc…decades later this is now in the public eye. (#metoo)

Can we not take a page from the current social storm and spin it to something that would be advantageous for all and not just ourselves?

Example: The homeless, a registered sex offender, etc. There is no difference between the humans other than their circumstance. I feel that there is an avenue here to explore for the greater good of our Society as a whole to take a step towards Exclusionism.

no – race, gender, sexual orientation, age, are all classes that an individual has no choice but to be a part of. They are born that way.
A criminal offender is not the same.

The devil is in the details…please re-read

To say that a person has “NO Choice” but to be a part of with regards to Sexual Orientation is closed-minded. That is completely false. Anyone has the right to choose what their sexual orientation is. (Not that I agree with that)

That being said within the same context again please reread:

To use the argument NOT just for RSOs but all Citizens. For no reason shall an American Citizen be discriminated against to do business against.

          That’s the point.

          FAC, you say,
“no – race, gender, sexual orientation, age, are all classes that an individual HAS NO CHOICE but to be a part of. They are born that way.
A criminal offender is not the same.
I think the highlighted part would apply to the Fla Registry…
Seeing my “offense date” was 4-94
And the Reg. Law went into effect in 12-96.
I thought that in 2007 they lowered the restrictions for people before the Reg. date?
I was just told (by BSO) that I can go to schools, Parks, car shows, city events and the such with no problems. That I was “grandfathered in” under the 2007 ruling.
It was the same year that they did away with the law that said if you went 25 years without another offense, and you were only arrested once, you could apply to have your records sealed, expunged, and have your name deleted from the registry.

Mine was 1993.. depends on individual State Laws. in Florida registration begins on your date of release. City Ordinances may apply when it comes to visiting parks and schools etc.

Anyone who supports the Registries is an enemy to all decent Americans. Registry Terrorists must treated exactly as the criminals that they are. Wage war.

FRT I totally agree with you! They are no friend of American values as stated in our constitution.

Actions like this make fuel the fire already burning against RSOs! Actions like this reinforce the stereotypes AND profiling that we are trying to overcome!

Actions like this from companies that are used by the majority “prove” to Mr and Mrs Joe Six-pack that we should be all feared and all treated the same – banished – not safe to have around the decent folk…BULLSHIT

Please check out my site SexOffenderTruth.com which points out just how un-American the registry is and also just how useless the label of “sex offender” is and how it actually makes it easier for those most likely – someone a child already knows – to actually abuse a child – NOT anyone on their deceptive, lie based list!

“BULLSHIT” is quite accurate. And F those people. Straight to hell.

I like the look of your website. I don’t have a lot of time right now but I’ve bookmarked and will definitely try to make it a point to check it out.

The millions of people who are affected by these Registries need to stand up and tell the terrorists to go F themselves. It is far, far past time to stop trying to be nice to the harassers. It is time to shove these Registries up their rear ends.

There will be acute depression and possible suicides for the Juvenile and young RSO that loses their Social Media access and habits. And in no way or form are these bans a deterrent from capitol offenses being committed by characters you may meet on line.

They could not pay me to have a Facebook account. Another organization running in fear from a non-existent threat. Good to know that armed home invaders, armed car jackers, drug dealers , etc still have access to their tools of the trade.

I agree with Capt. Munsey they could not pay me to use Facebook. My opinion is that Facebook is just as bad as any Federal and/or State Registry. It destroys families by posting personal arguments or in house fighting between family members. Then some person wants to comment with their 2 cents worth of advice to fuel those arguments. I guess common criminals love Facebook some fool posts they going on vacation or they on vacation and some burglar trolls the posts and breaks into the fools house back home because they are at Over priced Disneyland in Florida. They get rob twice: One from the burglar and two from Disney.Even if I were not on any Registry I wouldn’t go to Disney in Fla or CA. The cost to park your car is what $20-$30 dollars per day.And that is not even the Entrance Fee. which was $25.50 I heard its close to $75.00
