So which group has caused more harm on Facebook, registered offenders or the latchkey junior sociopaths who these policies are allegedly designed to protect?

And in the meantime, spineless California appears to be unwilling to enforce it’s own laws regarding denial of access to “business services” based on registration.

Watch for the next NARSOS Digest for a story on Facebook Security. This is no surprise. The cops are mad as this was their legal go to platform to conduct stings. If you are a RSO you do not want to risk any compliance issue by using any file sharing sites. Facebook has major security problems far more important than those they ban are the personal accounts sold for information.
i have lived without Facebook and IG and you can too. JEV

How would they ever know if someone’s a sex offender?
I can’t see them digging to find out. Also, if they did find out would they just delete the account or notify other people why they were deleting it? That’s my only real concern. Thanks!

All states have mandated electronic identifiers included in the SO registry. Social media companies check registry data against user data and insta-ban users appearing on both lists. Facebook has done this for years. After the first time I was banned from FB, I opened a new email, registered it with FDLE as required , and opened a new FB account and registered it as required. The new FB account was banned within 48 hours.

I find it hard to believe that facebook or instagram has a specific section in their company matching user names and RSO. I would think you were reported by someone who knows you rather than FB actually digging into your personal info. They don’t have time for that.

All social media sites that request it can get the private email addresses we are forced to supply at registration. They use that list, as well as anyone reporting us to them, to delete accounts.

As I’ve said, the state governments are violating Packingham by providing the email addresses that get us banned, as well as violating Substantive Due Process by having us on a list that says we are dangerous without a court deciding that and the duration.

Since when have state governments cared about complying with the law? That’s for us peons…not them.

You are correct. Even back during Brown V Board of Education, SCOTUS ruled schools can’t be segregated, yet southern states ignored that ruling. It wasn’t until 10 years later that Congress enacted a law on that subject before southern states complied…a little…over even more time…

In Milledgeville, GA, the new desegregated high school was not built until 1971. Remember the busing protests in the 70′? Brown was decided in 1954, before the Little Rock fiasco. If you want to know how states prorate, look at these recent laws that effectively band abortion. The states know that they will lose in the loser courts. They are just hoping to get one conflicting circuit so that they can take the case to the new and improved Trumpty Dumpty Supreme Court.

Computers don’t take lunch breaks. You think that they manually scan email addresses? Why would they?

This is 2018 not 1918! You can not hide anymore and with AI being able to sift through data at a rate never before seen in human history that is more true than ever before!

        Actually California doesn’t.

Nothing…not even a primary email address…much less the HUNDREDS of others that a typical person has with the modern era of communications via smartphones.

Easy, there is a auto DOJ search of your name, address, phone and location. So if false info is given they find your Location through the app. Anyone found giving false info to setup a new account will be denied. Your email is also redflagged. Plus IG really doesn’t work by using a false identity. Its a bummer for sure but as private Companies they set the rules.

Just deleted my Instagram account, I will not support a group that is part of the problem with people shaming and banishing individuals.
