Judge says AI generated child porn may be protected by the first amendment
Federal prosecutors are appealing a Wisconsin judge’s ruling that, in some cases, possessing AI-generated child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is constitutionally protected. The decision could have significant legal implications, potentially limiting prosecutors’ ability to charge individuals for possessing AI-generated CSAM.
Last month, in response to a defendant’s motion to dismiss the charges, U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson allowed three of the charges to move forward but threw one out, saying the First Amendment protects the possession of “virtual child pornography” in one’s home. On March 3, prosecutors appealed.

No, Jesus was not a convicted felon in the modern sense of the term, as the legal systems of His time were quite different from what we know today. According to historical accounts and the Bible, Jesus was arrested and put on trial by both the Jewish religious authorities and the Roman government. He was accused of blasphemy by the Jewish leaders and of claiming to be a king, which was considered a threat to Roman authority.
Ultimately, the Roman governor Pontius Pilate sentenced Him to death by crucifixion, even though Pilate himself is recorded as being hesitant and finding no fault in Him. Jesus’s trial and execution are widely viewed as unjust by many, and they hold profound theological significance in Christianity.
Sir with all due respect, I’m not GOD in that way for every atrocity mankind does against each other. I would love to return to the wild wild west days where we put you on trial, sentence you and hang you that day for cases where we know for a fact a person is 100% guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt. You are totally ignorant as to what the Bible says. For example, Jesus said:

All I can say is, I am sorry what happened to you. Some people hold it in and never speak about it but glad you can share your pain, even if it is to throw your pain on us. You can aim it at me if you want, I fully understand.
I had a terrible childhood moving from state to state when my father was in the military. I was in at least 18 different schools in my lifetime and as the new kid, I was always bullied, that was until high school I started to fight back and eventually got left alone but then I became the weird kid that would that you didn’t mess with so then I had no friends.
I know being bullied is not the same as being molested, but the pain is still there either way. I hope you can forgive what others did to you, maybe not in person but give it to God and at least you should have some peace. Becoming a vigilante would just end up sending you to prison, and believe me, if you have never experienced being in prison, it is no holiday.
I understand your anger, but you fail to realize we are all clumped into one registry. There are people on the registry that have never come into contact with a minor, never communicated with a minor, there are some on the registry for urinating in public. There are kids on the registry that were sexting with their gf/bf. There was a case a few years back where parents landed on the registry for posting bath pics of their toddler on Facebook. The ridiculousness goes on.
Your anger should be pointed at your government that has failed to sort and tier PFRs instead of keeping them in the system in perpetuity and rearresting over clerical errors, rather than adapting the Federal Tier system and assessing/arresting for actual crimes and being a general threat to the public.
P.S. I’m sorry to hear about what has happened to you in the past. Not everyone on the registry is like the people who hurt you.

A year or maybe two ago I made a post speaking about registries. I stated that if we had so many registries that it would finally end them all, maybe that would help, but how long would that take to establish.
I mentioned:
Animal abuser registry
Bad cop registries
Crooked judge registries
Gang member registries
Scammer registries
Arson registries
and the list goes on and on until everyone in the U.S is on some sort of registry. That would maybe be the breaking point. Or the opposite could happen where they drop all of them except Sex offender registries.

There is chatter alleging that people who are vaccinated with mRNA are no longer considered “human” by the U.S.S.C. what impact would this have on the registry if it were true?
Can registry policy and restrictions be placed on a non-human entity?

Myriad Genetics, Inc., 569 U.S. 576 (2013), was a Supreme Court case, which decided that “a naturally occurring DNA segment is a product of nature and not patent eligible merely because it has been isolated.” However, the Court allowed patenting of complementary DNA, which contains exactly the same protein-coding base pair sequence as the natural DNA, albeit with introns removed.

This will be a very interesting ruling. If it stands then there will be a lot of ramifications throughout our Country. If it is over-ruled there will be many ramifications throughout our Country. Just think about it. If it is allowed then it opens the door for cyber bullying through AI. If it is not allowed it could shut down Hollywood and many of it’s movies because the plot line depicts murders or rapes as well as other crimes. The Judge needs to be very careful in the wording of his opinion as well do the future Courts.
This case however could have multiple negative impacts on PFR’s as I can see upholding it to cause more hatred and abuse towards us. Overturning it can also have negative effects upon us.
I now more than ever believe that the best option for us is to fight this stigma not by attacking registries, but by pushing registries and making them unbearable to deal with. Imagine a public registry forcing publication of all known drug dealers or drug buyers. That would really tax law enforcement resources. Having a registry for one group and not all groups is a violation of the 14th Amendments equal protection clause. So pushing for more registries could effectively end all registries.
I digressed from the main point that this ruling could cause much more harm than good. Keep your eyes open and make sure you keep in mind that the ruling could be over turned and you may still be arrested for possession of AI.

The possession of child pornography should be treated as pornography addiction/sexual addiction and people need an addiction recovery process and not a penal process.

I believe in Canada they provide such therapy post-conviction. Must be Canadian citizen and arrested/tried in Canada.
