      That is some article.

“It is a reporting loophole that unnecessarily puts children at risk, analysts said, given the high recidivism rate for offenders and the high propensity of people convicted of crimes such as child pornography to also have unreported criminal contact with children…

“‘This is very frightening…The whole purpose of the sex offender registry is so that people who encounter an offender can be made aware that they committed a sex offense. It also helps the offender remain accountable for their actions. If no one has to notify an employer, that flouts the very purpose of the sex offender registry.’”

Is any part of the above passage truthful or accurate? Wish someone had countered this sooner.

Where are they going with a goal of 200 signatures?

These are usually sliding goals. Once 200 is reached, the goal will probably jump to 300 or more.

Done!! Let’s please not dwell on any negative comments about whether this will get enough signatures. Please just get signatures. The more we get, the more other people may sign. It snowballs.
The more people sign means more people are thinking about it . The more people sign means we increase database information of persons who are like minded who we can be mobilized for votes or who can help spread the word about the social injustices offenders face.
Get motivated!! Please get everyone you know to sign!!!
