Operation Restore Justice: 205 Child Sex Abuse Offenders Arrested in FBI-led Nationwide Crackdown

he Department of Justice announced the results of Operation Restore Justice, a coordinated enforcement effort to identify, track and arrest child sex predators. The operation resulted in the rescue of 115 children and the arrests of 205 child sexual abuse offenders in the nationwide crackdown. The coordinated effort was executed over the course of five days by all 55 FBI field offices, the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section in the Department’s Criminal Division, and United States Attorney’s Offices around the country.

In many cases, parental vigilance and community outreach efforts played a critical role in bringing these offenders to justice. For example, a California man was arrested eight hours after a young victim bravely came forward and disclosed their abuse to FBI agents after an online safety presentation at a school near Albany, N.Y.

    @Bottacelli – instead of lambasting people here perhaps you should be helping your friend who got raped. The people here have paid their debt to society. And are trying to live normal productive lives again. God forgives everyone my friend. The people on here have constitutional rights. If you like. You can look up my case and see the injustice done to not just me, but many others. Innocent men get accused every day of a “child sex crime” whom never touched a child or downloaded kiddie porn. Once that label is put on you you are guilty. No matter what you prove to anyone. This is done in the name of money for state and local officials. For example, look at how you have treated people here. You immediately put a label on people and automatically assume they are guilty of atrocious things that they have never done. That is what we are trying to changer here. Rhetoric like this has caused people their lives. Vigilante groups have been documented to take a sex offender registry and go on a hunting expedition. Take a break from this, help your friend, and quit being a bully

      @Machiavelli

      One can not commit sex crimes and pray to God after that to be forgiven. He actually does not forgive these things. If one already had a relationship with God before, then they would not have committed sex crimes. Just like you can’t just beg and pray to Him when you need something or when things are going bad for you. You should be praying and giving thanks all the time, not just in “bad times”.

    @ Botticelli- Well this happened over 12 years ago on a legal adult website. I quit chatting and never traveled. They arrested me at my work. I wasn’t fooled, I was entrapped. Try reading the legal definition of it before you respond again. Also, I’m simply saying your data is all wrong. But you didn’t debunk me so therefore I was right. All you did was come back and try to insult me. If that is your only response to facts then don t respond. This is a blog for serious issues, backed by fact and dignity. You can take your trolling and acidic behavior elsewhere. It is obvious your dimwitted and of singular mind, uneducated and unwilling to learn actual truth (mic drop)

      @Machiavelli do you always say “mic drop” to yourself? Laugh at your own jokes? I’m very educated on the topics. I am here to defend the real victims and be their voice in any way I can. I know a victim whose life was ruined because of your kind. You’re all the same. Always playing victims and crying. Lying. Spinning webs of lies. You were arrested at work?! Wow that’s pretty bad. Must have been hella serious for them to come get you at work bro.

        You remind me of this guy that got arrested on allegations of abusing kids in his wife’s preschool. It turned out this activity had been going on for years. And when deputies searched the guy’s phone, they found a trove of messages in which claimed to be “the voice of voiceless victims” and their “defender,” accusing random strangers online of engaging in the very criminal activity that he himself had turned out to have been engaging in.

        You seem to fit the profile. Are you that guy?

            If you have information on a rape, then you really need to report that to law enforcement. This isn’t the proper forum.

              Jacob- the rapist went to prison and is out now, living amongst society. He’s obviously on the registry. You are not very bright are you? The victim has a life of trauma and psychological issues because of it.
