Trial Date set in Ex Post Facto I!!!

A trial date has been set in Does v. Glass (SDFL)!!! This is the case we referred to as “Ex Post Facto I”.

Trial has been set for July 13, 2026. Yes, that’s 2026 (not 2025), which we know is still a ways off, but remember that this case was initiated in 2018, has gone to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals (where the Does prevailed) and then back to the District Court.

We wanted to share this exciting news as it came in. More details will follow!

    One bit of news maybe?
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis cannot seek re-election in 2026 due to term limits.

Its so hard for me to be optimistic about a positive outcome. Iv been in Fl since day one. Iv seen the hate thats come from the legislators and the courts.. I pray it does something to help the one who deserve it. But Iv been so beaten down I just can’t seem to find hope for relief from the courts anymore.

      @ Same OL

Look at what happened in Michigan. They won, the reversed it, they re-did the registry and put many back on. Then some got off etc etc etc
Why can’t a judge get the courage to stop punishing us well past our sentences. To me, being on the registry is worse than prison because we are prisoners in our own homes. Registration requirements are just an off shoot of probation if you ask me.
Won’t bore anyone but if you have been on probation, you can check every box. Instead of a probation officer coming to our homes, law enforcement does (Which they also did WHILE I was on probation)
We have to register still even after probation was completed. We have living and residency restrictions, we have to register any vacations and travel (Also had to do that with probation officer).
I could give a list as long as the Mississippi River of the things we have to do as registered citizens.

      Same ol,
I’ll tell you this, I’ve been on the registry since 2007. I have hate it my heart, but it’s a righteous hate. God permits us to hate, righteously! If things dont align according to God’s will, we have that right to hate, BECAUSE IT’S WRONG!!

Lots of times the people who were named in the cases win, but then we have to use the case to hire a lawyer to try and get removed. Would like a judge to make it automatic, retro-active for all of us to be removed, especially those of us who were years before the registry existed.

Keep the faith, stay strong, pray if you can and never give up.
