Abducted Child NOT with Registrant

On Thursday of last week, fifteen year old Ricky Henson went missing from Ft. Pierce.

Immediately, the media lit up to shine a spotlight on the 190 registered sex offenders and predators living within five miles of the missing teen’s home. News reports noted that the focus was on these individuals in the search for Ricky.

As it turns out, Ricky’s abductor was not a registrant. Fortunately, Ricky was found safe in Orlando with a college student he had met online.

    The Jacksonville news is at it again. Evening news loaded with nothing but sensational sex offender stories all evening.

    Also talked about lifetime monitoring bill and the rise in St Johns County sex offenders. Well of course they have a rise in sex offenders, they’ve created hundreds of them in the past few years with their craigslist and prostitution stings.
