300 Letters provides families with Emotionally Focused Family Therapy once a week for a duration of 3-4 months. During that time 300 Letters will cover all child care cost to alleviate financial stress. The program is guided by Licensed Psychologist and professionals. Families will tackle communication issues and overcome social and emotional barriers Incarceration has placed on families. By reducing stigma and ensuring the societal success of families, the 300 Letters program will ultimately benefit the community as a whole. 300 Letters will cover childcare costs for every family in the program so that parents can earn an income without the added financial stress.. In Florida, the average cost of annual childcare is $8k which is unrealistic for a demographic that is already at a 75% disadvantage of not finding employment within the first year of re-entry.
