Backlash Builds With Sham Sex Trafficking Sting
The following article re-post represents the sentiment of many of the people I’ve been speaking with. First, it should be clearly stated that FAC is against sexual abuse. That said; when headlines emerged last week that hundreds of individuals in Florida were arrested in a “human trafficking” sting, I envisioned something completely different.
News reports claimed that a multi-county, multi-agency operation had successfully busted hundreds of people in a “human trafficking” ring. The use of the term “human trafficking” led me to believe women, possibly even children, were enslaved and forced to perform sex acts. The operation apparently began in November and over the course of nearly 4 months, police conducted surveillance (including setting up cameras INSIDE the rooms) on massage parlors from Palm Beach County into Central Florida.
As the story unfolded, and hundreds of men, including Robert Kraft, were outed and shamed, I kept waiting for the mic drop. When was the governor going to talk about the rescued women and children who had been saved from the dungeons? It never happened. In fact, when Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg held a press conference yesterday calling human trafficking the ‘evil in our midst’, he admitted NOBODY has been charged with human trafficking.
So wait… all this publicity, who-knows-how-much money blown on months-long investigations, and the big story was a 77 year widower got a handjob at a ‘rub and tug’?
Had this “operation” really been about human trafficking, I would have hoped that police would have swooped in and rescued the victims immediately. Instead, they documented days of voyeuristic “investigation” intending to take down a couple-hundred community businessmen.
I guess now that they took away BackPages and Craigslist Personals, all those officers who spent years pretending they were 14 year old girls in order to entrap people online have to resort to other methods to get their fix.
Billionaire Robert Kraft — the owner of the New England Patriots — was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution at a massage parlor, according to probable-cause affidavits released by Florida prosecutors.
The 77-year-old widower faces up to a year in jail if convicted of the two misdemeanor charges. Kraft will also be required pay a $5,000 fine, do 100 hours of community service, and attend a class on human trafficking.
He will be arraigned in Palm Beach County Court on April 24, ESPN reported.
Sanctimonious Media Clutch Their Pearls
According to affidavits obtained by Palm Beach Post reporter Olivia Hitchcock, Kraft paid for manual stimulation at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida on Jan. 19 and Jan. 20, 2019.
Here’s one of the affidavits (warning: explicit language):
“On Sunday, January 20th, 2019, video surveillance was conducted at the target business. At approximately 1059 hrs, Kraft entered the business through the front door, where he paid cash at the front desk to an Asian female, previously identified as [REDACTED] which was captured on JPPD Cam 5.
[REDACTED] escorted Kraft to a room identified as JPPD Cam 2. There, the two hugged each other and Kraft took off all of clothing, laid face up on the massage table and [REDACTED] hugged him again.
At approximately 1102 hrs. [REDACTED] began manipulating Kraft’s penis and testicles and then put her head down by his penis. This went on for several minutes. After a few minutes, [REDACTED] wiped Kraft in the area of his genitals with a white towel, helped him get dressed and hugged him again.
Kraft gave [REDACTED] a $100 bill plus at least one other unidentifiable bill. Kraft left the room at approximately 1113 hrs.”
“Based on the aforementioned investigation, I have probable cause to believe Robert K. Kraft did solicit, induce, entice, or procure another to commit prostitution, lewdness, or assignation, contrary to Florida Statute 796.07(5)(a)1.”

further demonstration of the scam that is the justice system…what the fluck business does government have in someone elses bedroom?.government cant even decide what bathrooms to use but they are an “expert” on acceptable and unacceptable sex?.what is prostitution ? two consenting adults having agreed sex and sharing money , what is dating? two consenting adults having agreed
sex and sharing money, what is marriage ? two consenting adults having agreed sex and sharing money….so apparently they are all “human trafficking ” now since all involve sex and financial gratification ? too many laws ..legal system and police dont need more tools to do their jobs..they need more competency..all the tools in the world cant fix stupid.
It just goes back to what I keep trying to tell everyone. This out of control, unchecked government will NOT STOP until ALL OF US are under their thumb and control and they will use whatever “laws” and means necessary to do it. Yet, we STILL think that we can get relief and “fair judgment” in this system. It truly, truly boggles my mind that we keep thinking this. When will it be enough people? When will you have had enough of this bullsh*t???
But in any event, I love your definitions of prostitution, marriage, and dating. It’s essentially the same damn thing. And you’re RIGHT. The govt has NO BUSINESS peeping inside someone’s bedroom….or massage parlor business…or what have you.
What did Kraft do wrong? He paid someone a fee for something they AGREED to do. Was the person FORCED into doing it by a pimp or a trafficker?? I think not. And how did Kraft participate in “human trafficking?” Things that make you go hmmmm.
Really, FAC! TMI While I appreciate the information in this article I don’t think it was necessary to include the information from the affidavit and the somewhat salacious language included in spite of the warning. We are an educational organization and support changes and legislation to help people see registered citizens as people who deserve the same rights as nonregistrants. This site should be above reproach and not publish any information this specific that can lead to triggers for those who are working diligently on their recovery. We want this site to be available to all members and not be blocked by those with mandated filters. Please at least remove the affidavit information. I appreciate all your volunteer efforts but please exercise more discretion.
The affidavit information was from the re-posted article. since it concerns you we removed it.
Thank you, FAC, and I agree, with the above poster— I had forwarded the article to people to raise awareness and then had to retract it!
I fully support FAC’s posting of the facts…reality. We need to know in detail exactly what is going on so we can decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. Being offended will not set us free, but knowing the truth and the truth will set us free. We need to know of the sleazy tactics being used by those on ‘both side of the fence’. Neither the offenders or law enforcement come out looking clean on this situation.
I disagree with you… National Geographic is an education site and they have nudity and other sexual graphic materials while F.A.C does not have these things but claims it is educated site as well By informing the public with facts but yet removing details because of taste,or personal agenda it is no longer educational site.
Because it means has now been censor. Speaking of triggers based on graphic details A person should not walk out side their door, watch t.v. or even look at an ad because these could all be triggers. I am sadden today that F.A.C has buckled under the weight of pressure by a member to censor a public affidavit. I guess now we going to have safe spaces here at this so called educational site!
Let’s not ramp up in-fighting over a small accommodation. The full set of information is available at the referenced source, so nobody has to miss out on anything. Many of these posts are digests, not intended to fully replace the source material. If the salacious details can be toned down without obscuring the summary digest, and it helps some members maintain a connection to our community, it’s worth doing. The backlash to people being triggered at all is often no less absurd than some of the absurd triggers that are out there. Every situation is different.
If law enforcement can’t prove that Kraft negotiated a sex act for money, but instead, just tipped the masseuse well after a surprise happy ending, will their case hold up in court? There were at least two arrests of suspected prostitutes (but, are they victims of trafficking??) in Orange County during this sting. In the past, the MBI (Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation), said to be subsidized by Walt Disney World and other family/tourist businesses, has apparently been involved in many busts. The US/states should do the “human” thing and legalize prostitution.
I thought the same thing! How does this help anyone? Was it a young Asian girl who was being forced to do this, and now she has been rescued from having to do this anymore? Where is that part of the story? I’m thinking they just arrested and charged the woman as well.
It’s so pathetic. The only people who should care about this nonsense are the spouses and significant others, if there are any, especially the ones of the perverted officers who just did it to watch and get off on it.
Will Kraft now become a sex offender and be required to register in Florida? If I did as he did…and I certainly wouldn’t…I would have to register. Also, it came to me that the message parlors must have been in on the deal, otherwise, how did the surveillance cameras get installed? Me think ‘something is rotten in the state of Florida’. If they knew these women were sex slaves why didn’t they shut the parlor down up front and not let these ‘sex slaves’ endure what they had to just for law enforcement to prove a point. ????
Dear Captain:
According to the affidavit, which was taken down because it offended two people, the cops obtained a search warrant to surreptitiously install the cameras due to an “tip” about illegal activity. The cops pretended there was a bomb threat at the business and evacuated everyone to install the cameras. Then they monitored the cameras for a period of months untill they “caught” a few high profile men in the establishment to make headlines. Again, it’s all in the affidavit….if you can find it elsewhere.
So Bill, as you explain it, law enforcement let these women…sex slaves…suffer just so they could fulfill their law enforcement mission. If that’s the case, I hope these women get a good lawyer…or at least a sleazy one…and sue the hell out of the police department.
awesome argument Capt! If they were slaves where is Lauren Book comment commending the police for their actions and allowing the slaves to continue to suffer while being film by the police
Geared against Men
Human trafficking is a term used to invoke outrage and hysteria. I guess the state of Florida is crime free and flush with cash if their officers have nothing better to do then set up stings like this and let the media run wild with the “human trafficking” stories. It’s pathetic.
There has been talk of legalizing prostitution in the past. Frankly, if both parties agree, then why not make it legal? I’m tired of the moralists who want us to believe they have never even had an impure thought running the narrative.
I do believe that I read in this morning’s paper that one of the closed down message parlors in Orlando was run by two women. So goes the old theory that I grew up believing…”Girls are sugar and spice and everything nice”. If these parlors are ‘personed’ with sex slaves why not shut them down immediately rather than put the sex slaves through all the misery just to fulfill some law enforcement pursuit? Couldn’t these law enforcement officials be used for more productive endeavors?
Reason did a good article on this a few days ago: https://reason.com/blog/2019/02/22/robert-krafts-prostitution-arrest-is-par
