There should be a documentary “Can Woman Beaters Change” or “Can Child Beaters Change. “ Habitual domestic violence felons go about their lives post sentence without a registry?? Really? What if my son or daughter starts dating one? Or my friends son or daughter starts dating one? Or your son or daughter starts dating one? But that’s okay because only we get a registry. Can we point out to the producers that not all the crimes are horrific? Jennifer Fichter, for example.

Hello Bag of Hot air. I noted you commented you will listen to the documentary. Have you found a way to do this?

It is being shown on BBC Three and on iplay but not available for viewing in the U.S.

I am very interested to see what the shows concludes. Thanks.

I, too, was offended by the word “horrific.” This will obviously be a slanted, uniformed documentary, with its purpose being to inflame, not inform, the public opinion. My son’s crime was having pre-marital sex with his teen fiance’.

Your son would not have had to register on the UK registry. If he had, it would have been for a limited period of time, non-public, with no residency restrictions. If he is dealing with Florida then I hope he is hanging in there.

Who and what people are rarely change, but people can change their behavior and isn’t that really what matters?
