Bill to Create Tiered Registry in Missouri

The State of Missouri is considering creating a tiered registry that would allow some with less serious offenses to petition for removal. It’s a move that some other states are considering or have implemented.

The bill can be read here: https://legiscan.com/MO/text/SB655/2018

UPDATE: The governor did not sign this bill.

I was asked by the SO therapist/Counselor to sue the state in regards to implementing a tiered system in Florida as defined by the law. He thought that it was my chance and others to get out of the system. This was 13-15 yrs ago.

Some states are coming to their senses. Some are following suit as a route alleviate the states financial burden in my opinion. The state of Florida on the other has no sense. They will spend tax payer dollars regardless but Florida will hit a mark the bubble burst and they are forced to do so but for they mean time they cut spending in other areas regardless of who it affects. Its like Florida having to agree to medical marijuana but they will twist things to keep a constricting hold on it and say patients cant smoke it so I think if Florida conforms to a tiered system they will say your in this tier level but nothing has changed so just follow the laws and expect some new harsher laws to come. It will take a federal judge to force Florida to change but we know how that goes . They will wait till the deadline to change to ask for a extension or an appeal.

Why isn’t there a tiered system in Florida? All this money that is being spent on other lawsuits, which by the why is extremely important to the registered citizen, but we should have already had a tiered system in place here in Florida. All these other states are changing there laws, what the hell is going on with Florida?

Because the Florida legislature has not proposed such a bill, let alone passed one.
So long as Ron Book has so much influence in Tallahassee, you can be assured that one won’t be proposed.

We must accept the fact that Governor Scott thinks of himself as ‘god’ and believe that he is above common sense and the desires of the voters. He is a master of delay and avoid. I trust that his days as a politician are slowly coming to an end.

So can we not bombard our state reps and senators to persuade them to propose such a bill??? Can’t the citizens of the state propose their own bill or get someone to do it for them?
