Broward Sex Crimes Prosecutor Arrested for Shoplifting

Broward County Assistant State Attorney Stacey Honowitz, who has prosecuted crimes for nearly 30 years, was caught shoplifting from a Publix Supermarket in Aventura. She was a supervisor in the sex crimes unit.

The Aventura police released security camera footage showing Honowitz stealing approximately $40 worth of cosmetics. While her attorney claims she stuck the items into her purse and simply forgot to pay for them, she went into her purse to pay for other groceries and again to purchase a lottery ticket.

Nobody should be above the law – certainly not someone who prosecutes others for doing so.

Folks, don’t be disillusioned by believing anything will come of Her crime. The Injustice system is just that.

I have a good friend who was once a Brevard County deputy. He served for five years but came to the realization that many of the people he served with belonged behind bars just as much as if not more so than the people he monitored in the county jail. He had to resign.

After my arrest, I determined the only difference between most inmates and most correction officers is “they haven’t been caught yet”. This takes it to a higher level. Who knows, maybe it will open her eyes to “our” world.

Once a shoplifter always a shoplifter! Isn’t that the way people like her think? That’s the way sex offenders are treated. Who shops and puts what they are going to buy in their purse?

Makes you wonder how many times before she’s done this, thinks she’s above the law,as most prosecutors do ….

Please. Most prosecutors are above the law. They practically run everything in the courtrooms. Judges are pretty much rubber stamps.
