Broward Sex Crimes Prosecutor Arrested for Shoplifting
Broward County Assistant State Attorney Stacey Honowitz, who has prosecuted crimes for nearly 30 years, was caught shoplifting from a Publix Supermarket in Aventura. She was a supervisor in the sex crimes unit.
The Aventura police released security camera footage showing Honowitz stealing approximately $40 worth of cosmetics. While her attorney claims she stuck the items into her purse and simply forgot to pay for them, she went into her purse to pay for other groceries and again to purchase a lottery ticket.
Nobody should be above the law – certainly not someone who prosecutes others for doing so.
UPDATED: The charges were Nolle Prossed

She will get away with it and keep her job and “title”.
There is an incident that happened with a sheriff in Georgia if someone would like to Google it. It would be great to hear some comments on this! Decalb County Sheriff Jeffery L. Mann. The incident happened May of 2017 and he is still in Office! He is deeply committed to providing superior public safety services to the people.
Just imagine what she would say if a registered sex offender was caught on camera doing the same thing. Politicians would be all over that story. She didn’t just violate the law, she also broke her oath of office.
Its a “US & THEM” thing now.
US=== the poor schlubs who try to make a living, who have to budget to make an “emergency payment” on anything…
THEM=== the “entitled”, the ones in the $1,000 suits, driving the Benz, or the Porsche, strutting around like peacocks. Thinking they can do whatever they want, with no remorse and no sense of responsibility or culpability.
Guilty or not……. If we all had “million dollar attorneys”, would there actually BE a registry?
