CA: ACSOL Sues Fresno Over Ordinance

Source: ACSOL

A new lawsuit has been sent to Fresno County Superior Court challenging an ordinance adopted by the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. That ordinance would significantly limit housing options for persons required to register who reside in that county. The ordinance will become effective on February 5.

The ordinance was adopted after two public hearings conducted by the Fresno County Board of Supervisors. During the first public hearing, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Supervisors stated that all registrants are dirtbags and should not be allowed to live in residential neighborhoods. He then added that all registrants belong in prison and should not be allowed to leave prison.

A copy of the complaint can be viewed on ACSOL’s site.

    If liberal CA is cracking down the rest of the U.S. is going to be a nightmare for registrants especially if they are on the registry for life with no chance of getting off

    What is the name of the dictator wannabe vice chairman Karma magnet, please?

    Do you have an email address for the soulless heartless bore? He’s one of those poor souls who has to tear down others to make him self bigger. Self-important people cause and attract more damage than they realize. Makes me wonder what secrets he’s hiding.

    He seems to like dishing out hateful ignorant opinions. Very unprofessional. I’d like to share my intelligent educated knowledge with him.

    Elections have consequences. Often the courts are our only protection, and even then we are often treated as second class citizens.

      @R
      I disagree with the second-class citizens. We are treated like a 3rd class citizens, or not citizens at all.
      I wonder if one of these law makers had a close relative that was arrested and became a registered offender, how would they act?
      Murders and other crimes, once their sentences are over, other than having a record, usually get to move on with their lives, with a few exceptions.
