The Governor of Colorado has issued an executive order (Executive Order D 2020 029)
Among other suspensions, he “temporarily suspend the requirement in C.R.S. § 16-22-108(6) that any person required to register as a sex offender shall sit for a current photograph or image and shall supply a set of fingerprints to verify the person’s identity to local law enforcement, to provide local law enforcement agencies with discretion to determine the manner of registration in light of social distancing requirements in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.The mandate to register remains unchanged.”
Florida has still not made any exceptions to the statute requiring any element of registration.
I would say since the governor is trying to reopen floriduh including beaches sit down restaurants and even trying to figure when they can start trying to open the theme parks he dont give a rat’s @ ss about the ” people” of floriduh so he will never care about us the so called ” vermin ” they try to stop us from getting a decent job , try to make sure we end up homeless , try to stop us from getting any kind of assistance or benefits. They just want us to be locked back up or just crawl away and die somewhere. I myself refuse! I have my own business and even tho this pandemic has stopped my business almost completely I cant get the sba loan because of my status……it sure dont keep them from taking the tax money my company has to pay ! But I will prevail I’ll keep pushing and growing my company and when we start back working strong I will have the last laugh. Since my first rule is registered citizens will always be given the open jobs at my company before the unregistered . We have to look out for one another since the law & politicians wont . Be strong my brothers and sisters.
There are certain states that if we were on fire would not piss on us to put it out. Florida is and will always be one of those states
I can vouch for this action. I’m in Colorado and my registration date was last Tuesday. I called the registration officer, he acknowledged that I was in compliance for the quarter and we went on our merry way.
Sorry FL is still not making any adjustments in this area.
Hi Brian. I am in Colorado Springs. I did not have to fill out paperwork but still had to wait 4 hours before my time in the registration room. CSPD is verifying information in an interview format. The problem seems to be the state software. It cannot be updated with changes if any. Everything has to be manually input each time
