Disney Princes are Sex Offenders

In interesting article, written by a professor from Osaka University, was published in Japan Today. In it, she points out that the prince from the fairy tale, “Snow White”, is a sex offender.

She writes, “Imagine a loved one, say a sister or daughter, is lying comatose in a hospital bed when suddenly the son of a prominent politician walks past and sees her. Infatuated with her beauty, this fortunate son walks over and plants a big kiss on her lips. Probably most of us out there would suddenly feel inclined to press either charges or a fist against this joker.”  But that’s exactly what happened in the Disney fairy tales Snow White and Sleeping Beauty!

We also have the classic Shakespearean tale of Romeo and Juliet. A beautiful love story, which now carries the unfortunate stigma of having a category of sex offender named after it.

As one commenter pointed out, most every romantic movie or novel, especially the older ones, is filled with flirtatious behavior that these days would be considered sexual harassment. Think about it… how many times does the romantic lead just grab the female and plant a large kiss on her lips? It was viewed as romantic. Nowadays, it’s not romantic. The days of “making a move” on a date are over. If that move is unwelcome, it’s sexual assault.

Let’s try this scenario…. You ask someone out on a date. After a nice dinner and great conversation you drive them home, walk them to their door and before saying a final goodnight, you lean in for a kiss. Years ago, if a “move” were rebuffed, you’d walk away a bit embarrassed and rejected. Even heartbroken if it was someone you liked. We’ve all been there!

Today, however, you’d be calling a criminal defense attorney. That right of passage that we’ve all been through is now a sexual crime. And that’s no fairy tale!

Just another classic example of how political correctness has ruined this country!
We all grew up on those fables in which a man passionately kisses the girl, or listened to songs like “Let’s get it on” and it was just a part of human nature. But nowadays chances are good, especially if you’re a MAN, that if you even pay an innocent compliment to a woman, then you are a pervert and should be on the s.o.r for life and be subjected to a bunch of asinine regulations.
This paranoia is further enhanced by the media through shows like “Steve Wilcos” and “Law and Order svu”.
And women all over the country are jumping on the “sexual harassment” bandwagon. Whatcha wanna bet that 80% of these “victims” are just lonely vindictive women who simply had a bad date or in a bad mood whenever their “encounter” took place? Trust me, this stuff really happens!
First Bill Cosby, who admitted his crimes, then the flood gates burst open. I even read where David Cassidy was accused….THREE WEEKS AFTER HE DIED!!!
That poor soul can’t even defend himself and his “accuser” waited until he was dead to even speak up!? Granted the reason they wait so long to report it is fear of embarrassing repercussions, but if you do some research instead of being sheeple following the pied piper, I guarantee the majority of these allocations are WITCH HUNTS just like the Mcarthy communist trials of the 50s!!!
    WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!

“The iconic picture of a sailor grabbing a nurse -kissing her, today could get this guy on the S.O.R”

So TRUE! Every unasked for touch is now a sexual assault. In the movie, “The Quiet Man”, the Duke himself (John Wayne) grabs Maureen O’Hara and lays a big kiss on her. Does she call a cop? Hell, no! She smacks him good taking care of the issue herself then marries him.

So true and I applaud this professors bravery – why bravery? Because anyone that says these things today is accused of not supporting the victims! It is a fine line to walk between what is acceptable and what is not and many times it is based on the interpretation of the “victim.” I tell my students all the time…Society norms change and laws change but you cannot change the humans.

Yes, You are correct !!. What makes me so sad and mad is, Everyone explores their sexuality when growing up !! And neighbors that grew up together usually end up being each other’s “First Time” !!. We ALL did things back then(when we were kids) that today gets CHILDREN put on the Sex Offender REGISTERY for Life !!!!!!. That’s why I’ve always said (and will always say) that EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET IS A SEX OFFENDER !!!!, They just haven’t been CAUGHT yet !!!. It’s so sad that kids are caught up in this crazy time with all these new Laws !!!. How can ANYONE in their right mind put a 10,11,12,13,14 ??? Year old Kid on the Registery ?????. How can a 10 year old boy grabbing another 10 year old girls butt be considered a SEX CRIME ????. This country has spent the last 30+year SHOVING SEX DOWN OUR THROAT’S , through TV, Movies, Music, Styles of Clothing and so on, And now everyone is getting PUNISHED for reacting to what they’ve been taught !!!?¿??????!!!?. What has this Country become ???

This country has and always will be based on conservative christian values and as such there will always be hypocrisy and insanity which defy logic such as all the hysteria about S E X!

It will remain that way as long as religion poisons the culture and is the basis of our legal system.

“In God We Trust” … BS – which god are you referring too?

An American Sociologist (forgot his name) who has been living/working in Europe for the past 20 years said it best when he described the U.S. from a distant perspective across the pond.

” The United States is like a 14 year old teenage boy. In the one hand – obsessed with sex, and in the other hand – freaked out about it. ”

This country is based on conservative christian values with its puritanical roots at its core, yet we produce more porn than anyone else in the world. A trillion dollar industry.

You nailed it sir. Our country has become a communist, fascist, government controlled police state that profits off locking people up through lobbyists. And the feds are actually giving Grant money to these task forces to run these scam sting operations. Police stations are buying military equipment. Why? What do they need it for? We’ve allowed this government to get out of control and now we’re paying the consequences.

You can thank victims right groups. Burden of proof the accused sex offender is no longer on the state, but on the accused. How does one prove a negative, particularly when it’s no more than a matter of he said, she said?

The S,O.R is in full expansion mode- that is why the S.O.R has lowered the bar to be on it for public urination -would be happy if every one in USA was on it.

The iconic picture of a sailor grabbing a nurse -kissing her, today could get this guy on the S.O.R
