Subject: A fascist mark on American citizens passports is now Rep Smith’s primary legacy as well as doing nothing to address Human trafficking

We are a human rights organization that attempts to protect American families as they travel internationally because the US government has put their lives at risk by establishing the Angel Watch office.  With the passage HR 515 and its established “unique identifier” on passports, Representative Smith just put a mark on their backs and put at risk the physical well being of thousands of American children and families as they travel beyond the borders of the US.   This Mark also puts the US in league with Nazi Germany as the only authority to ever include such an Orwellian and Fascist symbol on a citizen’s passport.

Rep Smith, this now becomes your legacy, harming innocent American families and children and supporting Nazi tactics.   As a retired combat aviator with 350 combat hours over Iraq and Bosnia,  this bill sickens me.

As you are well aware, your bill will do nothing protect children from exploitation.  However, you have refused to call out the Government of Iraq as their legislature passes a law allowing marriage of men to 9 year old girls (1).  This law would also legalize marital rape.   There is nothing in the Congressional record suggesting you protested to the Afghani government when many of our troops documented numerous cases of child rape and boy sex slaves conducted by Afghani military officers on US military compounds (2).    Several allied countries have been known to promote child sex slavery and child brides as young as 9 (3).  Yet, as the senior member of the foreign relations committee, we can find no record of you attempting to hold our supposed allies responsible as major sources of international sex trafficking.

Please sir.  As our members and their families are harassed as they travel internationally, can you provide us with an explanation as to why you are absent on the issue of human sex trafficking?

At this point, it will be a matter of time before Kristallnacht and concentration camps. Oh wait, we have “compliance checks (Kristallnacht) and “Civil Commitment’ centers (concentration camps. I guess that means the gas chambers are coming.

If you think a Roberts-led SCOTUS is going to strike this down, then I will gladly take your bet. When are you registrants going to start taking your grievances to the streets? We should’ve had a demonstration in DC.

I think the government would bring out the tanks and start shooting if we went to the streets. And nobody would care.

Derek, I am only today familiar with you and your advocacy. I have many questions for you but I’m only 2 pages into the vast wealth of info on your website. So my question for now is:
What would you have us do? I have a 7 year old son caught in the middle of this mess. I house I am paying a mortgage and taxes on that I am banished from. My last public exposure bright me nothing but death threats and calls to have my son taken from me.
I am an intelligent person with much knowledge and skill that is wasted under this oppression. A specific plan from you would be appreciated.
