ENOUGH!!! Suspect said he killed Brevard County man ‘because he was a sex offender’. Had list of others to target.
This isn’t just another headline. This is a warning.
According to a newly released affidavit, a Brevard County, FL man is accused of killing another man—specifically because he was on the sex offender registry.
The victim, had been reported missing. What police later uncovered was something out of a nightmare: dismembered human remains stuffed into suitcases and dumped in a remote area. But the most disturbing part isn’t just the brutality, it’s the motive.
Investigators say the suspect allegedly identified the victim as a registered sex offender and decided to act.
This is where we need to stop pretending this registry is harmless or not punishment! That’s Bullshit! This is exactly what happens when you take a massive, public, one-size-fits-all registry and turn human beings into permanent targets. This is not “informing the public.” This is creating a hit list. A list with our names, pictures, addresses where our own wives and children live, that angry, unstable, self-righteous vigilantes can use as a roadmap. How many more have to be killed before you realize this?
If you are reading this, sitting around quietly and hoping you’re not next isn’t a strategy.
Start speaking out loudly about the real dangers of public registries. Push for elimination of this useless system that paint targets on people’s backs. Demand that policymakers acknowledge the unintended consequences of what they’ve built, and refuse to be treated as disposable! Because if this can happen to one person on the registry, it can happen to you!
Our work isn’t about defending crime. This is about defending human beings who have already served their sentences and their families from becoming acceptable collateral damage.
WAKE UP PEOPLE AND DO SOMETHING!!! I expect to see our comments FULL of reports that people have contacted their legislators and local news outlets.

The victim of this premeditated murder still remains on the sex offender registry, you know, to protect the public. (sarcasm)
As the retorict keeps getting more violate I foresee this being more and more of a of a possibility for PFRs. Our names and addresses and everything to stalk us is posted. Noone cares about us but our families. And lets face it you look at all the comments being posted this is guaranteed to happen more.
I say everyone do what you can to keep your families protected. Keep your heads on a swivil put up home cameras. Make plans to keep your homes secure. Noone is coming to save us or our families it is up to us to protect them.
I never had doubt but we always need confirmation, and the affidavit has all we need to confirm we were correct.
Now, I’ve been saying this for years now, that the media, both mainstream and social media, has promoted vigilante activity for years and law enforcement has done little to publish vigilante activity. There are currently dozens of online vigilante groups operating just on Facebook alone.
I’d love to see Meta (Facebook) sued over the proliferation of such hate groups.
I have screenshots of the comments after a Facebook post on the Florida Scanner page about this disgusting act. I am going to be keeping records of this garbage every time I see them. If anyone has access to social media and sees it then please do the same. Just need to know where to send the info to. Something Has To Be Done!
Please send it to [email protected]
It’s my hope whenever these vigilantes try their antics that the same exact hurt they caused any registered citizen is done to them!!! I have ZERO EMPATHY OR SYMPATHY for anyone who knowingly, with malice aforethought, causes bodily harm to any registered citizen. The assistant state’s attorney prosecuting this case needs to upgrade charges to 1st degree murder and seek the death penalty. If there’s any way to contact the ASA on this case to persuade him/her to seek the death penalty do at earliest practicable moment! DO NOT DELAY!!!!!
If you have internet access, Wikipedia has an article for how many attacks (including fatal ones) on registrants on a nationwide basis. While I am sometimes skeptical of Wikipedia’s articles, even THEY acknowledge two dozen fatal attacks in the past years. And, I bet the number is low.
Search Wikipedia “List of anti-sex offender attacks in the United States”.
I wonder if FDLE will be charged with “aiding and abetting” a violent crime? Somehow I doubt it.
