FAC letter to Florida Senators regarding the “human trafficking” bill.

It seems to me that since we are now almost a million strong all across the country — TENS of millions if you consider all the family members affected by one of them being on the registry. That would seem to be a pretty strong and hefty political demographic if we could just organize and use it. I am just guessing now, but I would assume most of those people on the registries are in the Democratic camp. There are now some umpty – dozen Democratic hopefuls vying for the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party. Is it not possible to make our voice heard, to maybe demand some important presences at NARSOL’s national conference this June?
This is so well done—it is prompted by the human trafficking bill yet gets them thinking about a larger and more important issue. And so reasonably argued as are all such letters with Gail’s name on it.
Thank you Gail, despite years of oppression I remain optimistic and it’s because of work like yours and the Florida Action Committee!
Very well done! I really enjoyed the statistics about DUI harm and the question about DUI registration. Hmmmm, my bet is Ron and Lauren Book will be red faced. Again, very well done!
Very well written Gail. Thank you for your eloquent and concise letter on all our behalf. Now if they’ll just actually listen and do the right thing.
if they hear from enough people they will get the message.
Good luck on that!
