FAC Requests Clarification from FDLE on the New "Internet Identifier" Definition

The Florida Action Committee sent this letter to the FDLE today seeking guidance on the new internet identifier requirement so that we can provide correct information to our members.

This request is separate from the lawsuit.

    I for one though do not trust it when they say “oh that is not what it means” or “we are not going to log that information” – because without clarification or a wording change in the law the fact is they could get you on a violation if they wanted to …

    You though if they come back and say yes we want all the URLs then they will get what they ask for! LOL can you imagine???? especially if they are then responsible for tracking all the URLs – I hope they have an outstanding system! It is truly mind-boggling!
