Dear Members and Advocates,
A few weeks ago, we shared information about Justice Transitions, Inc which is the charitable organization that supports the Outreach needs of Florida Action Committee (FAC) members. Sadly, this small 501c3 organization is having to turn people away because the funds are not available, whether for another support house for elder care, or just a request for help with rent, treatment, or gas to get to work.
You have an opportunity to help them, so they can help fellow registrants and families. They have several needs, but I will limit it to the Hundredx Fundraiser and the housing crisis.
There is only one week left to help raise money by midnight July 30 just for giving your opinion of products and services. It is called HundredX and it pays $1.60 for each QUALITY response. Simply signup and select Justice Transitions as your charity, then HundredX will send text or email reminders that will stop once you complete 75 surveys or on July 30, whichever comes first. Your name is only shared with JT to let them know who is participating in the fundraising campaign, or your can remain anonymous. Each survey takes about 2 minutes to complete. Take your time and provide a QUALITY response that will count. Responses that are too quick, inconsistent, or random may not be considered as quality responses and therefore may be omitted.
Click on the Flyer (Spanish flyer) for program details, and share the flyer will family and friends over age 18.
Here are three ways that you can get started:
- Text “FEEDBACK” to 90412
- or go to https://hundredxinc.com/impactwithfeedback-B
- or click on the QR code found on the Flyer
URGENT SECOND REQUEST is a call for help with housing, no big surprise. There is an immediate need to find housing for a young couple with a baby due any day. He is still on probation in Seminole county. They were all set to move into a mobile home in Orange county that was previously cleared for them, but days later Orange County denied the residence because a neighboring community installed a small playset in the retention pond that was about 800 feet away from the rental unit. PLEASE, if you have a place for them to rent or buy, call FAC at 833-273-7325 Option 1.
Mark your calendar for the next Monthly Membership call on Thursday August 1 when we will be discuss the upcoming Legislation Delegation meetings and your opportunity to be part of the speakers team. Several speakers are needed to cover meetings that will be held in all 67 Florida counties. For more information, contact [email protected] and ask to join the Legislative team.
Stay strong and get involved – With Unity Comes Change.
Sincerely,
The Florida Action Committee (FAC)

Keep at it everyone. It is so easy.
Very easy way to help a great cause when there are so few to help us. I encourage you all to do the surveys and tell others as well.
