Hi Nancy, my husband made a virtual mistake that we are paying for dearly. Because he clicked on a link he was placed in prison and was released. What happens there is inhumane. It was the hardest time of our lives. Now we must live our lives being blasted on a public registry. He has the lowest possible risk due to his rehabilitation. How long is appropriate Nancy? People forced to register are statistically the least likely to reoffend. We just want to live in peace.

This bill feels like a slippery slope. Given current practices for adoption and foster care, I think that it is unlikely that a registrant would be able to do either of those. The surrogacy part bothers me. There can’t be that many women registrants who are considering surrogacy either as a child of their own or to give up for adoption. Is the state then going to prohibit registrants male or female from conceiving a child at all?

I propose all additional laws since 1997 are now void and removed.
How many law makers have been fined, jailed, or convicted since 1997? and VOTED on these measures?
Laws created by un law abiding legislators are now void.
Open the constitution and shed some light on this thought.
    I’ll call this proposal #101.
    I’ll collect votes now.

Is this even a thing or is it just more political posturing?

From my understanding there are background checks run on adoptive and foster parents so yes posturing. Good luck trying to stop someone from becoming a parent via surrogacy, I think it would be a major constitutional issue.

Under no circumstances there should be a child allowed in Sex registrants family.

Sincerely, your friendly neighborhood sex offender.

Nancy, with all due respect, you have absolutely no idea of what registry is and what can place you on it. If you did you wouldn’t say such an ignorant thing.
