Florida County to seek first known death penalty for sexual abuse of a minor.

In a first known case since Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a new law authorizing the death penalty for a sex offense, a Putnam County man will be facing the death penalty for alleged sexual abuse.

The accused, who had a prior (from 2010) sexual assault conviction, is being charged with the sexual assault of two minors in Putnam.

    Yawn.
More feel good propaganda programming for the war on sex money train.
Everyone is angry about this tragedy. Everyone with a conscious mind and rational thought should be.
Who’s to blame? for the list not working is a good question. A fair question to taxpayers.
It’s our money not theirs. I am outraged at the billions of taxpayer dollars blindly/unaccountably spent on a civil campaign.
Tired of political gain from Politians yet? well, some are inexplicably guilty of these crimes yet escape justice. Powerful connections. Right or wrong?
Abolish the registry of Constitutional grounds.
End the taxpayer agony. Return the funds to the economy of each taxpayer. That is the goal. Educate every citizen taxpayer.
    Have a good day everyone.

The reason sex offenses were never a capital offense is because the thought of the death penalty might cause abusers to kill their victims in order to keep them quiet. This law is a danger to children.

What if someone is falsely accused? Sex crimes can be prosecuted just on a “he said she said” basis.

Sex offending is so enticing that knowing the registry exists doesn’t stop them?
