    Copy and paste from F.S. 775.21 – as referenced on the sign

    (7) Information provided to members of the community and the public regarding a sexual predator must (MUST) include:
    1. The name of the sexual predator;
    2. A description of the sexual predator, including a photograph;
    3. The sexual predator’s current permanent, temporary, and transient addresses, and descriptions of registered locations that have no specific street address, including the name of the county or municipality if known;
    4. The circumstances of the sexual predator’s offense or offenses; and
    5. Whether the victim of the sexual predator’s offense or offenses was, at the time of the offense, a minor or an adult.

    Every single one of these red signs is illegal. Why does not someone sue them for producing signs that adhere to the very law printed on them. See if they find the money for these billboards, see if they REALLY intend to save that one child.

    Amazing the Sheriff is allowed to use freedom of speech to do this but should this person decide to use their freedom of speech to post or place a sign outside the sheriffs house that is illegal under Florida law

      Wow. I thought Duval was bad having to put the “No candy” signs, but this is beyond the pale. Once again, Florida shows how proud it is of its ignorance and hypocrisy. Any real lawyer would take this case pro bono and bankrupt Nassau County.
