Follow Up: Veterans on the Registry

Dear Veterans,

There is still time to participate in our study on veterans who have been convicted of a sex crime.

Thank you to those who have already participated in this research project. As of January 8, 2020, we have received 164 completed surveys; however, we still need more veterans on the registry to complete the survey. Our goal is to have a minimum of 250-300 completed surveys by the end of the month. If you have yet to complete a survey, please fill one out. Click on this confidential study link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/justice-involved-veterans

If you started a survey and did not complete it due to technical issues, short on time, or whatever reason, you are still able to complete your original survey. In order to do so, you will need to use the same device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) that you first started taking the survey on. While on the original device, click on this confidential study link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/justice-involved-veterans

It should take you to where you left off on the survey. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Emily Horowitz ([email protected]) or Shawn Rolfe ([email protected]).

Again, we thank each and every one of you for your willingness to support our research.

With gratitude,

Dr. Emily Horowitz and Shawn Rolfe

Honestly I haven’t dinner it yet because I’m just not sure what the info will be used for. Will it make it better for the RC community? For the veteran community? I’m just nervous of anything that targets RC or veterans and this does both.

Just completed the survey. Only asked me 79 of the 100 questions. One question was vague about personal and household income. No time period was in the question so I didn’t know to answer with weekly, monthly, or yearly amounts. Had to skip several questions about victims since I had none.

I know I signed up for the survey but I have had so much going on that I can’t remember if I did or completed the survey. I hope someone can let me know.

The only way would be to ask Shawn or Emily.
