Fort Myers police captain under investigation for sexual misconduct as suspects sue.

The Fort Meyers, FL Police Department is facing a lawsuit, as two people arrested by them fight back against misconduct involving their arrests. The two are among two dozen who recently had charges against them dropped after the department got caught using using a compromised informant and very sketchy tactics to arrest them.

One of the most interesting (we can’t even call these shocking anymore) bits of information is that the Department’s Captain, Jay Rodriguez is under investigation for participating in a sex act at an Asian massage parlor sting and then lying about it in a report. In light of the recent events at Orchids of Asia and other Florida massage parlors and the legislatures’ efforts to create a registry of Johns, we’re curious to see where this investigation into Captain Rodriguez goes.

In the meantime, Rodriguez is on paid leave and taxpayers are footing the bill for his defense and lawsuits against others in the police department.

The good thing is it’s in the 20th judicial circuit. I know the prosecutor that does sex offender cases she’s tough!

When this happens in Texas, they cover it up. If it’s at a point where they can’t cover it up, then they make it to where he still gets away with it. Even if he were to get convicted, he would later just be exonerated. That’s how it works here in Texas. Many people here are very well aware that this is going on, yet it continues to go on.

Another example of the sad state of affairs we find this nation in. I read the local police report in the newspaper every week. Of all the arrest that have been made in the period of a month, only two involved sex offenders and their charges involved not registering their new address…hardly a threat to society, especially when we read every day stories of armed robberies, armed home invasions, armed carjackings, shootings, drug dealings, etc. Our whole system of so-called justice is out of control with the mouse chasing the cat.

Florida……The most shady, bubba-fied, ignorant, corrupt police state in the entire world.

You would expect to find this kind of crap deep in the heart of Alabama or Mississippi or other corrupt local southern police jurisdictions, but it’s in just about every county here in Florida as well. I cant wait for the day when all these corrupt law enforcement officials crash and burn.

Just look what happened to the pioneer of the sting operation in Florida former Det. Chuck McMullen. Google him and you’ll find out real quick. He was the guy doing the emails in my sting. Karma is a nasty bitch.
