Hearing on IML to take place on July 27

A hearing on the government’s Motion to Dismiss the International Megan’s Law challenge is scheduled to take place on July 27th in Oakland, California.

California RSOL in conjunction with RegistrantTAG is coordinating the permits for demonstration in the plaza in front of the courthouse. More information to follow.

We recognize that California is on the opposite end of the country, so most Florida Action Committee members will be unable to attend, but if you have friends, family or contacts near Oakland who care about our cause, we ask that you invite and encourage them to attend. You can contact [email protected] to express interest.

At the same time; www.registranttag.org launched their revamped site yesterday. It contains a submission form for travel issues and a forum where you can search for and find information on international travel for registered citizens.

They need to finish Megan’s law period, it’s clearly not preventing teachers and cops from have sex with minors, and it’s clear that offenders don’t re offend at a high level worth the millions of dollars spent on this law.
