Hearing to take place this Thursday in Miami-Dade case
A special-set hearing has been scheduled for this Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:15 on Plaintiff’s Emergency Motion for Temporary Injunction.
Attorneys for the plaintiffs, homeless registrants, are seeking a stay of the County-imposed deadline to leave the encampment or be arrested. With nowhere else to go, if the Plaintiffs leave the encampment they would be arrested for violating the residency restriction.

I have a novel idea. There are several “keys” that are very deserted and where there are hardly anything around close to Miami Dade. There is also Key Biscayne right there too. Why don’t they just “banish” all RSO’s to one of those keys and tell the residents already there that they can stay or go it’s up to them. Hell, I’d go stay on my own “key” if I had the chance. Just give me all of my basic needs and a convenient store close by and I’ll be just fine.
As I’ve said before, why don’t the US just buy us our own deserted Pacific island and banish us there. Have a Wal Mart there. We’ll man it and work it, build us some waterfront condos, and hell, I’ll go in a skinny minute. An island full of 870,000 people. That would be interesting.
Anyway, I just hope Ron Book gets embarassed by all of this. He clearly does not want to submit to reasonable thinking.

I guess it would be wrong for Miami to say what they mean..” that we don’t want your type around us upstanding citizens”, but I don’t expect them to tell the truth now, seeing that they have Not told the truth, or conveniently left out the facts as they relate to ” new offenses ” committed by registerd sex offenders….that’s some real bull.
