IML – Results of the July 27th Hearing

On July 27th, the Court held a hearing on the Government’s Motion to Dismiss a lawsuit challenging the implementation of the International Megan’s Law.

Paul, from RegistrantTAG.org reported the following in an email to RTAG members:

“I went to the hearing on the Government’s effort to dismiss the IML lawsuit.   Janice Bellucci represented California RSOL as the federal government filed a Motion to Dismiss the IML lawsuit. She explained that the court will probably not dismiss the case. Janice suspects the judge will give CA RSOL the opportunity to amend the case.”
