Republican state Rep. Dan Johnson was found dead of a single gunshot wound near Mount Washington, Bullitt County Coroner Dave Billings said.
We Don’t know if he was guilty or not, but he knew that either way his family would be drug through the mud like we all are. Lets not judge to harshly as we are judged .
No let’s judge him as we are judged. He was a “minister” as well as a parasitic politicians so the world is a better place without him.

I understand your frustration, believe me I do. But we can not battle hate and ignorance with hate and ignorance . When I see other people post on news stories of how they want to harm, murder or lock away all sex offenders, it make me fear for the safety of my family and myself, along with all others on the ” hit” list. we must continue to speak out and educate people, not wish harm on them.
I ask again what are the stats on adult suicides or attempted suicides rather than face this hell we live in. Present that to SCOTUS. I dare them to say this is not punishmen when people would rather die than live like this
this and other suicides by people in authority should be used in cases where we defend the fact the registry and living on it is worse than death. the ft lauderdale police seargent Kreg Costa who was married and had 5 children did the same rather than face the music of horror of being an RSO. take that to the supreme court and let them argue that its not punative

Things have gotten really bad when someone in a position to make a difference in our punitive laws makes such a drastic decision to end their life, no consideration at all for his family. Today in the public arena, allegations of sexual misconduct equal guilt; the public has lost the court of law concept– innocent until proven guilty. The pervasiveness of the general idea that wealth can buy not-guilty verdicts has eroded any concept of American justice. NOT GUILTY does not remove the stain many perceive.

Suicide is learned. Somehow the crushing notoriety of being labeled “sex offender” reaches to self-justification and suicide. Is this outcome right? Equitable? Has our consciousness lost all sense of probity, measure of reasonableness.
My teacher taught me that murder far exceeded abuse but that understanding did not excuse abuse.
Here, animals outperform humans–animals fail to rationalize themselves into acting with poor behavior. Mostly, humans forget they are supposedly the highest form in the animal kingdom. The ability to think rationally and self-reflect, that ability is what “elevates” humans beyond other animals. It is sad to lose another human being.
Yes, this delight of a man who was not only a republican but also a pastor killed himself rather than face the charge which he was clearly guilty of sexual assault.
Being a “lawmaker” he certainly knew that death was preferable to even the possibility of being on this life time list of public shame aka the sex offender registry!

Lee your thinking of him the way people think of RSO’s. anytime anyone loses their life there is no reason to pile on its a tragedy and a tool RSO’s can use to show how horrible our lives are but to say things like he will not be missed or its good that it happened to him because of his political party is just wrong. As we all know there are people of both parties that will soon become RSO’s and the head democrat mr barak Obama gave us the jewel that is now having a stamp on our passports saying we are sexual predators even if we are not so hate and ignorance has no party line.
