New Visitors to FAC

Last week, the Florida Action Committee sent a mail piece to certain individuals affected by the registry. We sent the mail piece out in order to let our population know that we are out there. Whether it’s information and referral, participation in one of our lawsuits or simply a community of support so they know they are not alone and there is an organization out there that is here to advocate for them.

So far, the response has been overwhelming. For those of you who are visiting our website for the first time or who have left messages on our hotline, please be patient as we work to respond to you. We assure you that we will do our best to get back to you quickly.

In the mean time, please review this website for information and resources.

If you would like to join FAC in the fight, you can become a member by clicking here.

If you would like to be considered to join as a plaintiff for one of our lawsuits challenging registration requirements, you can fill out a case consideration by clicking here.

If you are looking for referrals for housing, treatment or an attorney (or would like to share referrals for housing, etc.) please visit our resources page by clicking here.

If you are able to help support our cause (reform sex offender laws) and can make a contribution to help our efforts, you can do so by clicking here.

Finally, our membership committee will need help fielding requests from new members, so if you are an existing member and would like to volunteer some time to help the cause, please contact [email protected].

I think it’s unfair to sex offender to have to register for life,I’ve been doing this since 1999,
