I just found this out. So am moving from florida am following reciprocating procedures in the new State for driver license and I go down to. DMV to get a three year driving record, which is all clean and they also. Add your sexual registry status??? I asked why was that on there its not part of my driving record???? I got …. Its part of your record…. Wow.
Did anyone know this? This is legal?
Thanx
Yes I said this years ago. Not only that when you go to get insurance and they pull your driving record its on there as well
The hypocrisy is overwhelming in florida. The imbalance and selective punishment branding one for life all in the name of public safety meanwhile DUI manslaughter can eventually get a clean second start..
please be aware of this

Yeah try tried to make me install that on my computer. I told them no. They backed off. From Florida
Does anyone know what happened at the recent hearing in Highlands County? I believe it was a hearing on a defense Motion to Dismiss a series of Failure to Report violations. FAC asked for our help in supporting the member/PFR/defendant named “Roger” but I was unable to attend due to work.
Roger got out on bond because of the new charges. He is fighting his case and seeking to have it dismissed because he’s not from highlands. He visited there and the detectives decided to go through years of his registrations to see where he might have made a misstep and then charged him with years-old violations that allegedly took place in a different county. He’s taking it to trial (so far).
Ok, we need a song for our group. I vote for Pat Benatar “We belong” or Lesley Gore “You Don’t Own Me”. We have to keep a sense of humor in life, that is one thing they cant take from me.
Likewise to your thoughts.
I have given $ to FAC for the budget and cases for years but truly not seeing or at least no steady info on the progress of the cases.
I was recently watching YouTube sometimes Florida is so micro managed with our sex offender registrations. I often look at other places to live and maybe that is their agenda but this time as I was looking, I came across YouTube in South Carolina in many other states finding that the sex offender for lifetime registry is unconstitutional. I’m seeing this more and more. I’m also seeing that the rules and regulations they have us under our also being declared unconstitutional such as restrictions on where you can live in certain information that we have to report. Maybe this is a question but what can we do to pursue these items that are found unconstitutional because if they’re unconstitutional on other States, why are they not unconstitutional in the state of Florida? I wonder
