    https://www.npr.org/2026/01/22/g-s1-106773/cuban-immigrant-ice-custody-died-homicide

“A Cuban migrant held in solitary confinement at an immigration detention facility in Texas died after guards held him down and he stopped breathing, according to an autopsy report released Wednesday that ruled the death a homicide.”

“After the final autopsy report was released Wednesday, McLaughlin issued a statement emphasizing that Lunas Campos was “a criminal illegal alien and convicted child sex predator.”

He was legally admitted to the U.S. in 1996, part of a wave of Cuban immigrants seeking to reach Florida by boat.

ICE said he was picked up in July as part of a planned immigration enforcement operation due to criminal convictions that made him eligible for removal.

So when confronted with the evidence of a murder her reasoning is it’s ok he’s on the registry.

1/16/2026 outside temp currently 42 looking to fall to 30 tonight.
Tonight as I rest my head in my warm comfy bed I had some thought of the human suffering of Registrants. So I pulled a quick search on Fdle and Found in Local Orange county there are 32 homeless registrants on probation that must report to street locations in wooded areas and under overpasses, at cross streets and must stay there till curfew at 6 am . Only then will they be able to enter an abode or building and seek true warmth and human comfort from the elements. My heart breaks for these 32 , Which tonight I looked at their faces and now pray for each one. Thru out our state this suffering is going on all over. The homeless count is neigh close to 3000 now as a result of all the regulation and restrictions and collateral damages to persons required to register. I encourage every member who can to search you local registrants and see who is homeless and make calls to your local politician and make them aware of this denoting the FDLE sight for verification of this suffering. Tonight its the cold later on it will be extreme heat and hurricanes. We have no shelters and in some cases they have no choice but to bear the elements. We need homeless intervention and support.

Hey look who’s in the news again https://mitchthelawyer.substack.com/p/congress-found-that-matt-gaetz-paid

    Full report https://www.congress.gov/118/crpt/hrpt943/CRPT-118hrpt943.pdf

“Based on the conduct documented by the House Ethics Committee, prosecutors could have pursued criminal charges under both Florida and federal law, had they elected to do so. Congressional findings are not criminal verdicts, but they are routinely relied upon to assess charging viability when supported by corroborated evidence.

Florida law provides the clearest and most direct exposure.

Under Florida Statute § 794.05, it is a second-degree felony for a person 24 years of age or older to engage in sexual activity with a 16- or 17-year-old. Conviction carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in state prison and requires mandatory sex-offender registration. The statute expressly eliminates any defense based on mistake or misrepresentation of age.”

How did the registry he and his dad fought so valiantly for help the victims?

Will this have any implications on other states that have done the same thing. Like Missouri? Or will it have to go through the supreme court’s to change anything?

    https://www.krtv.com/news/crime-and-courts/montana-ruling-shrinks-sex-offender-database

Knudsen says a 2023 ruling means more than 1,000 offenders on the registry will have identifying information stripped from public view.

Here’s why: The Montana Supreme Court ruled the state cannot retroactively apply stricter sex-offender registry rules to people convicted before those laws were in place.

In the Hinman v. Montana case, the court ruled that Montana went too far by retroactively applying tougher sex-offender registry rules to people convicted years earlier.

I have these same thoughts why are they adding to my sentence in which is complete with no probation I served my time. What would be next sex offenders can’t drive cars due to a risk they might drive by a park or have a special tag that endanger my whole family or add a bunch of irrelevant information like your car registration, which is obviously available at the DMV. I believe they add so much hoping for you to stumble and fall and head back to prison, my biggest fear in life is I forget something one of the many things they require you my fear is I might be guilty of being human and forgetting something
