We have received reports from members in Polk County that they have been asked to fill out a form when registering. Information on the form ALLEGEDLY includes questions that are not required to be disclosed by State statute, such as; marital status and religion.
These are not confirmed but we are asking members in Polk to please let us know if this information is true (or if any county is doing this).

THE SHERIFF ELMER FUDD, OOPS, I mean Grady Judd is up to this…spine-less, lower than whale poop of a peon is doing this since he can no longer post fictitious stings on craigslist et. al…the only thing he has been able to do is do stings on Prostitution-which will soon be quashed!….-a true, life-less low life that has no reason to exist on planet earth, as my 98 yr old grand ma says..’a true piece of shit!’
I posted something similar to these comments but it never got approved by the moderator, which I’m quite ok with however, I wanted to let you know that is the consensus about Judd even among those who are not in his wake or personally offended by his comments. I do not live in Polk, and never will, but I live in a county that’s just as bad and can’t wait to get the ‘he-ck’ out. Judd needs to be exposed for his unethical, unconstitutional, vigilante methods. It’s simply not right. At least in my county, where the Sheriff is certainly very vocal and is pretty enough for the media, but he does refrain a bit. I remember during a hurricane threat several years ago, there were two sheriff’s who simply said without quoting exactly, sex offenders are not welcome in my shelters, do not even try. But a third county sheriff stated that all are equal, we are all humans, and all deserve to be safe. If you feel threatened, find another place to stay or voice your concerns with authority. Made me want to move there but I don’t know how he REALLY feels. Anyway, FAC, I hope that you can find an avenue to expose this Polk inappropriate act of attacking us. He simply goes too far and thinks he has the right or means because of his title. Thank you!!
There was a cop in Riverside, CA who developed his own additional form for registration (no I can’t get it) and also asked questions that are not a part of state registration. A friend went to register and flat out refused to fill his form out. He provided all required info and nothing more. Cop didn’t like it but accepted it with no repercussions. Same thing happens when they do a home visit. Not required to answer any questions as home visits are not a part of the registry and he is not on parole so he never answers questions. Just tells them yes, he is there and sends them away. Anything you say to a cop at any time can be used against you. Understand the difference between the law and department policy. Policy is NOT law!

Yea I live in Polk county and have to register in March and I have been asked that question. This time I will also have to start paying for each registration and any updates. Yay😡

Yes, this is true. I’ve had to re-register three times in the last 3 months due to a change in vehicles at my residence and had to fill out this form each time.
Doug – on this form, does it ask you to provide your marital status and religion?

If you can get a cellphone shot and send it to F.A.C. if you cant get form The state has no right to asked about your religion briefs nor does the public
Yes it does..and I will again have to register a vehicle next week so I’ll try to get one. BTW…it is not a “proper” form. When you step to the window and give them your ID, they give you a typed piece of paper asking your name, physical stats, address, marital status and religion.
