Ron Book DUI: Dashcam Video Released

The dash-cam video of lobbyist Ron Book’s failed DUI field sobriety test has been released to the media. The video shows a clearly impaired Book barely able to walk a straight line – let alone drive a vehicle! It is frightening to think of the high risk to the public that this menace could have caused!

Ron Books hypocrisy and being a pathological liar which we have known all along is now being revealed to others. Maybe they will finally believe what FAC has been trying to tell the public and warn them of all along.

Perhaps he should no longer be able to visit/live within 1000 feet of any structure known to commonly serve alcohol. Obviously he is unable to control his urges and needs to be labeled as a threat to the community and to society as a whole. We must do something to protect ourselves and our children from monsters like this, that are simply allowed to wander the streets free of consequence. My daughter was injured when she was a child due to a drunk driver, and has had to suffer the mental and emotional anguish ever since. It is our responsibility as citizens of this state, to keep people like this off of the street and protect our loved ones. Starting to sink in yet Ron? Sometimes it’s hard for hypocrites to appreciate hypocrisy.

Obviously wasn’t just a simple DUI. The other driver could have been killed, and likely would have been if it had been an elderly person. Could have been a car load of children too. I confronted several drunks in prison who whined about “only” being there for drunk driving, while molesters were getting less time, which was certainly not true. I warned them to shut up because others doing real time were planning on hurting them if they kept it up. Wonder how frighteningly high the recidivism rate is for drunk drivers.

So which is it? Cancer drugs, or bad knees/ankles? Why wasn’t the cancer drugs the excuse he told trooper? Regardless, you were impaired! Didnt care about others safety. Didnt care about your own. You are very lucky! You could’ve cost that his life. Wheres the remorse. Wheres the I made a very bad decision. Let’s me take responsibility. Get the man a new car. Take care of his medical bills. Then move on. Wait you dont deserve to move on. The same way you push for others to not be able to. Who have taken responsibility and have moved on and are trying to live their lives.

I don’t think he is well liked by many people, except for his daughter; which doesn’t figure, and people he pays to do what he wants. Its amazing how some people seem to thrive in their biased, hateful endeavors. Maybe the tide will turn now as his lies become more obvious. Desperate people do desperate things, like blaming cancer drugs on his alcoholic impairment. Who does he think he’s kidding?

I have long felt Drunken Ron is universally DISliked. He’s just a mini Machiavelli, so nobody dares cross him.

Why is this not a felony? Driving under the influence of alcohol or any drug is dangerous. If you are convicted of a sex offense, no matter how minor, it is a felony with lifetime consequences even if it is a no contact situation. Surely, endangering people with a 3400 pound weapon that can easily wipe out several people at once should be a felony too. The justice system seems more than a bit skewed in my opinion.

In Florida, you have to cause serious bodily injury or death to another person for a dui to be charged as a felony on a first offense. Mr. Book is very lucky that his victim was not harmed…

He hasn’t been to court yet. Convict him first!
