The U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division claims they uphold the Constitutional rights of all people in the United States (note the emphasis on “all” was theirs, not ours). Let’s see if that’s true!
Today, in the United States, there are almost one million people on “sex offender registries” whose civil rights are being trampled upon. The Civil Rights Division has put up a form to report civil rights violations. Please share the below information with everyone you know whose civil rights are being impacted and encourage them to report the violations. Lets try to get one million complaints and see if the government will hold true to their promise of upholding the Constitutional rights of all people.

Hello, do you mean Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) via Department of Homeland Security (DHS)? I ask because I have proof of false testimony from one of their agents in my case. My lawyer is working on post conviction relief but not a civil law suit.

No CBP, which is a single entity of the Federal Gov..Depending where you reside, CBP is there to enforce entry and exit from a U.S. Jurisdiction…My situation is independent of yours!

I apologize for interrupting. i am new here. I am very much interested in your situation bc i feel as if i have a similar situation. This is my first post so i suppose it is a test run at best.
These commissioners do not even understand the current sex offense ordinance that Brevard County already has, let alone the new one being proposed. They would almost be humorous if it were not for the many lives they are trying to ruin.
I wanted to know before COVID 19 did any rso went on a cruise I did in November of 2019 let me know please.

Well, we’ll see how this proceeds. I just submitted a report on being denied the ability to attend County Commission meetings here in Brevard County because of the county’s proximity ordinance.
The last time I filed a complaint to them, it took about 6 months to get a response in writing. The response was just an acknowledgement of receiving my complaint. Maybe you will get something quicker. Please keep us updated. Thanks.
Bill – I don’t expect that they are going to jump on any individual complaint but if they receive thousands on registrant issues, they will unquestionably notice there’s an issue.
For those who have not filed complaints before: Their website discusses how complaints are handled. They claim every complaint is reviewed when received and informally investigated. In my experience from having gone through this process, If the informal investigation reveals a constitutional deprivation of any rights, then it proceeds to formal investigation. If not, the complaint is treated basically as dead on arrival or referred to another agency. Im sure that a lot of complaints on the same issue will raise more flags, which is a good thing. As FAC should know, I have advocated the filing of civil rights complaints to their office many times. It is an arduous process.
I do not think the political leaders in Brevard Co are capable of recognizing a constitutional deprivation of rights. They are so mixed up on so many things. I guess having a full-time job and working as a commissioner makes it difficult to do your homework properly. I am hoping a newspaper will recognize the problem here.
The fly in that ointment is that the DOJ consistently and repeatedly violates the rights of registrants on behalf of “the people.”
But I’m all for complaining to them. Flood their office with complaints, if for no other reason to show their inaction regarding complaints of registrants.
Cool. A complaint needs to go to the county as well, of course. They’ll have to find a location where all citizens can attend. Otherwise, they need to be sued.

Or about the fact that my business which I have to pay for a business license and pay taxes and workman’s comp and all that but was barred from getting the emergency loans to keep my business going thru this national pandemic because of my status as a registered citizen. This did not only hurt me but also everybody I employ and all
the venders and people who we buy from and provide services to.
I know with the current covid 19 issue our country is experiencing. I have noticed that alot of the testing sites which you have to wait at or around to actually get tested seem to fall at schools or places that registered people aren’t really allowed at. As my civil rights regarding being a rso. My public defender didn’t tell me anything except he wasn’t going to help me and have someone look up the laws when I get out to see what life was going to be like or involved.
Perjury deprives a citizen of the right to due process. But when I presented evidence to the DOJ Civil Rights that a key witness who was a federal agent in the CP case against me had committed perjury at my trial, the Civil Rights Division REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE. The words they use to justify their jobs is akin to a bad used car salesman selling you a lemon.
Perhaps FAC or some constitutional lawyers could provide some guidance. I don’t know where to start. Since WE are not a protected class, do WE even have a leg to stand on?

Agree with JZ. Not sure where to begin. Our complaint in Does v Swearingen alleges multiple constitutional violations by multiple statutory provisions, but the courts haven’t agreed yet that they’re unconstitutional. And I have my own opinions about what’s a constitutional right, but you know what they say about opinions.
I guess it depends what we’re trying to achieve here. Were a million registrants flood the Civil Rights Division with personal complaints, then that would demonstrate a remarkable capacity for organizing, but what else?
I agree with JZ. Yes, if our constitutional rights are being deprived but I don’t really know where to start either. I feel like I agreed to register as long as I’m living in FL or until another state approvals removal in that new state. Being that I agreed, I always think this means I agreed to have those rights removed. Including: voting rights, rights to own a firearm, rights to go to my child’s parent/teacher conference without informing them I am a RSO and having eyes watching me, etc.. I went to the site but turned back.

I invite everyone to contribute ideas, but today alone I was dealing with the compelled speech on driver’s licenses (the branding) and the Hillsbourgh County school district is holding a live Q&A on of their Facebook page and registrant parents can’t have a Facebook page.

How about the branding on passports? Maybe someone out there who is a good writer like Capt or Sarah can provide a template to violations we all face?
We don’t need templates. Bob, you wrote a coherent comment and you can easily do the same on this form. We should all have confidence in our abilities and give it a shot.
How about starting with the fact that you’re not exempted from being taxed on your income or (in some states) property but yet your FIRST WORLD country doesn’t allow you to do much of anything without certain PERMISSIONS or just flat out says “You’re not allowed”? How about that to start with? How about the idea that when you’ve served your sentenced time as well as your SENTENCED time on the registry of your state and you THINK you finally have your freedom to move anywhere in your FIRST WORLD FREE COUNTRY, the state you move to decides to put you back on SHINDLER’S LIST to go through the shame game all over again?
These are GREAT examples of your constitutional rights being trampled on. What more do you even need?
Oh, the branding of drivers licenses and passports being no different than the tattoo branding of Jews in Nazi Germany? Branding your IDENTIFICATION in a country that suddenly cares HOW people identify themselves? When you’re done with the registry obligations in your home state (within the UNITED states) then you have every right to say “I do NOT identify as a sex offender any longer”.
Use the left’s tactics right back at them. And yes – the US GOVERNMENT is quite left leaning. They literally push “political correctness”. So now it’s time we “correct” them.
