Update on International Megan's Law

For those of you who caught it; the conference call put on by RegistrantTAG.org was very informative. The speaker was attorney Janice Bellucci, President of CaliforniaRSOL.

The substance of her message was that in all likelihood Congress will pass the bill and the President will sign it, but that we will be ready with a lawsuit to file once it’s signed off on. A law firm in Washington, DC has already signed on to take up the challenge and the full weight of RSOL and all it’s affiliates (including FAC) is behind it.

Although she believes that the bill will be voted in, she did say that we received one miracle in the form of a snowstorm that delayed the vote from this week and miracles do happen. The additional time should be spent continuing to contact legislators to VOTE AGAINST HB 515.

Also during the call, Josh G. informed us of a portal through which individuals could sign up to send messages to their congressperson. A link to this portal is here:

Please take the opportunity to continue to push back!!!
