Petition to Declare Public Sex Offender Registration in the United States a Violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
Today, approximately one-million people in the United States are forced to register as “sex offenders”. The label leads to stigmatization, separation from society, loss of employment, loss of housing and even exposure to violence at the hands of vigilantes. The stigmatization extends to the spouses, children, family, friends, employer and anyone that associates with the registrant. The isolation, shame, stress, fear of violence, loss of income and other psychological effects are experienced by the entire household.
Sadly this gestapo mentality is only going to get worse since the liberal courts have already set their minds and condemned people like this to a life on the fringes … and they wonder why our prisons are full? Sad, really sad …
You will notice that all of the complaints about these homeless HUMAN BEINGS continually cite the unsanitary conditions. They can’t complain the the sex offenders cause trouble or commit crimes there, because they just don’t. They (we) just want to be left alone! We have already “paid our debt to society” by serving sometimes ridiculously long prison sentences, only to be subjected to hate and discrimination from perfect strangers for the rest of our lives. The “help” from the homeless trust fund people mentioned in the video must have been quite a joke.
if the homeless trust was doing there job then they wouldn’t be homeless. the homeless trust and convicted criminal ron book are the rats!
I’m speechless! May God in His infinite mercy redirect this underserve population into a subliminal blessing. I know prayers alone are not tbe answer. When are we going to stand up and fight together, fear is just keeping them down.
Self righteous people are mean.
This is so very sad. How can government officials including a judge condemn these citizens to the life of a nomad. Isn’t it bad enough they are homeless, living with rats and subject to extreme weather? I am praying for these men to find a new and safe home. I am praying for the officials to find compassion and common sense.
I agree with you. I think it’s because it is a high profile case(all over the news), an election year, and the people protesting are voters. While the judge is running unopposed, who knows what Ron Book can cook up against him or any other government official running for election. Which makes it even just as sad.
