Petition to Declare Public Sex Offender Registration in the United States a Violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)
Today, approximately one-million people in the United States are forced to register as “sex offenders”. The label leads to stigmatization, separation from society, loss of employment, loss of housing and even exposure to violence at the hands of vigilantes. The stigmatization extends to the spouses, children, family, friends, employer and anyone that associates with the registrant. The isolation, shame, stress, fear of violence, loss of income and other psychological effects are experienced by the entire household.
I’ve been trying to reach a friend of mine who was very successful in fighting the lies of the registry while we were at SOSEN.
What he did was comment on every article and every forum he could and always tried to leave a link to the true data somewhere on the article or or forum post.

This guy makes me sick! Please send this video to Jim Defede & other news stations. He is a criminal & he suffers from guilt because he failed at protecting his own daughter therefore he is taking his anger out on SO’s who have served their time & deserve a free life.
You can say what you want, but I say Ron’s actions don’t have anything to do with vengeance ,or protecting children or anyone else his only motive is his god money. He doesn’t care about Lauren but uses her and her position of power to further line his greedy pockets. He controls her like a puppet.

Yes, I agree !! Why can’t the “Government” donate some of these “Ghost Towns” to the “Sex Offender Cause (Community) and provide us with a alternative to sleeping under a Bridge or along some intersection ???. I’d be one to move there(Hoping the town’s would be out west where laws are more lax(Humane) !!!! There are HUNDREDS of small towns that are Rotting away that could be converted into a NICE place for Low Income,And OUTCAST people such as ourselves could START OVER and I bet those places would end up better than many of today’s current towns !! We could provide our own Security (Many spouses of Offenders have weapons premits ) and maybe even start our own Police Department !! There are so many EX Offenders with GREAT talents and skills that could turn a place into a Haven !! Of course it would mean many would have to leave Florida (or at least your areas) But wouldn’t a chance at a better life LIVING WITH OIR FAMILIES be better than what we have today ???!!!!!. I’ve always said (since getting hung by Florida) that they(Government) should give us an old town and let us(All Ex Offenders and family) build it into a SAFE place where we’re WELCOME !!. Not just something like “Miracle Village” in South Florida, But a REAL Town, Where we can have Businesses, And a FUTURE !! Miracle Village is great, But it’s just a place to quietly live “Under the radar”, And not really a long term thing !!. I do HONESTLY believe that since there is SO MANY people effected by the “Registery”, That now there are enough people (as well as friends and families) that we could build a town that EVERYONE AND ANYONE would be proud to live in !!. If we ALL WORKED TOGETHER we really could have a future !!. Make the “System” work for US !!!.
What then would you tell people when they realize your address? My address is not associated with a well known rso haven, so 99.9% of people are not even aware I’m on the registry. Part of starting over and living a life without the prejudices is that no one knows about it.
Unfortunately, those places are located in a county and most counties have ordinances that would prevent that many rsos from living in a cluster. You could always plead to Canada or the Netherlands for asylum…
It’s really sad that the myths this man constantly spews out to the public are believed. He’s still seen as a protector of our children because he’s out to get all the “monsters” under the umbrella of “sex offender”. As long as the media is on his side, the public will follow. We need many more Jim Defede’s to present the truth.
